I just got mine yesterday! Im still a student but tried to save for it. Got a month old 2nd hand with 256 storage for $400, its so fun to use and to design. I love the idea of getting less screen time specially sometimes my phone distracts me alot when studying.

Still using mine now , no issues with anything, of course I don't play on FB all day long and own a real camera if I want to take pictures lol . No issues with the screen or the hinge,but i always kept it in the caseborne armored case ,but it's crazy fast

@@gearupaaron That's exactly how I feel. If I had a Flip 3 I would not even consider upgrading, that's a no brainer. But right now I'm so sick of my iPhone and I just wanna get something new to play with. XD Definitely lots of things to install and set up when I get the new phone coz after all it's a totally different OS and some apps may not be available anymore. In short, I'm still looking forward to the event and seeing the new phones in person. My Apple Watch though, may have to stay in my little home museum for gadgets ... lol

personally, I wouldn't risk buying either to use as a main phone. just read the reviews on Samsung's website, these phones arent meant to last for 2+ years without maintainence problems, and samsung care likely won't cover the damages, according to reviews. I'm due for a new phone myself, coming from a S8+, I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 14 to use as a main phone, and a Flip 3 (when it goes on sale after that 4 drops) as more of an accessory/personal phone since aesthetics wise, its gorgeous, and I think Samsung's ecosystem is alot better and more innovative than Apple, but the battery, bad camera, and eventual creasing problems, wouldn't let me use this as a main phone. If anything, I'd get a galaxy. Why spend nearly $1k for a phone you won't get the best out of?👩🏽‍💻

I'm planning to purchase Z Flip 3 in 2024 because within 500$ budget only two option are left out, Razr 40 (2023 launched) or Flip 3 (2021 launched), The razr with cooler look and feels sturdy other side poor camera and worried about log term use because of motorola service and r&d. About Z flip 3 bit feeling of old mobile and poor battery and bright side good camera,processor and samsung has better service/ R&d also flagship mobile, based on this trusted choosing Z flip 3 over Razr 3 @Aaron what's your opinion on this ? will Z flip 3 worthy on 2024 or Razr 40 will be better choices ?

@@akramm.8543 I have an iphone 13 mini as my main phone (work/main) and flip3 for family/friends/random personal usage. It works so well as a secondary as my main takes most the battery hit so the flip3 battery lasts a lot longer than it usually would. Honestly works so well as a secondary and if I were to use it as a primary I probably wouldn't just due to my usage and battery.

Sure, though the battery may be weak point unless you're a light to moderate user. If not, and you can swing it, go for the Flip 4.

Wow, that's a big jump, so be prepared 😁 There will be some things you'll love and hate about Android (and the Flip), but it's the same with iOS and Apple, too, so it's all down to your personal preferences ✌️

I'd definitely still get the flip 4, the flip 3 just didn't really have great battery life, so about halfway through the contract, the battery would hardly ever make it through the day. The newer flip 4 has a 3700mah versus a 3300mah battery, so the difference was immediately noticeable, and this was the last flip generation before they "upgraded" the coverscreen to be obnoxiously big in my opinion. I really think the flip 4 is just a slightly improved flip 3, but the differences help!

Battery life is quite OK, as long as you configure the phone correctly. I use it pretty much all day and I still got 10 - 20 % in the evening. Absolutely fine.

I'm expecting the newer chipset and BARELY larger battery to bring in approximately ½ to 45 minutes more SOT. IMHO, combining that with the slightly larger cover screen, slightly refined folding crease, and 10W faster charging (which isn't much, especially when it still will slow down to 8-10W nearing 75% charge), AND a price bump, hardly makes it 2x better than the 3. I wouldn't buy the 4 brand new, but definitely with a good discount. So if you have to have a flip phone, either wait for a sale or buy a new 3 and invest the extra $300-400.

You're right on. Powebanks/chargers are a must, especially if you're on the go most of the day (and using the 3 a lot). It's mostly the SD 888 that's the power sapper.

@@gearupaaron The tricks are cool but the Fold 4 seems to have way better cameras from what some people who have both are saying. The photos on the Flip 4 coming from the S21 Ultra looks very very processed to almost comical levels. Unfortunately we'll have to wait until next year to see if the the quality can match the flagship price. No more functional prototype stuff!
