I actually slowed down the original of this video and built it on Ragnorok. This is still my favorite build. I added a few more of your builds and created a Viking village. I even built the Japanese Castle/Pagoda one with your pagoda greenhouse (except I used stained glass). I also made this town hall on Valhiem. I wish I could show you the outcomes of them all! You're the inspiration behind it after all!

Took me a bit to fallow along...only to figure out after finishing that...majority of the build is unusable(no top floors). Maybe do tutorial of Inside build as well for ideas.🤔. Characters are pretty tall so most my builds include 2 walls up for doors/double doors. I'm all for the realism tho. Lol. In any case, this was so intricate. I especially loved the ladder idea to get it straight and placed properly. This coming from some one with OCD, it does help. Also, the use of fence foundations and catwalks, this helped me immensely. Thankyou! 😁

Thanks!!! Love this roof, i Buildt The 12x12, was kind of to small, but so lovely!!! so i made a 21x21 version!!!.... Holy Shit is it big hahah!!! Base walls 5 hight, then everything is double to triple the size on roof lol. gables on sides bumped out extra far with double doors for windows. top gable ends have dino gates inset with balcony and was able to fit a Behemoth gate under the gable on side by taking out some foundation to sit it lower on ground... it pokes up through the gable like chimneys on ether side lol... the roof has sooo much usable room now!!! and looks pretty with the Vaulted ceilings!!! took about 25hr to build the exterior, had abit of trouble figuring out heights of gables had to do test runs, got it looking great tho Can't wait to make a 28x28 lol.

Replacing the front door with a dino gate, consequently the entire build begins at that height. Being I'm on Val, @ 34 05. Not an ideal place for a cushy squishy build. Thx for the vids Aaron!

definitely doesnt like using the S+ building pieces. i had made the entire list of materials and then had to scrap them all. only use vanilla pieces. lol. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome base build. it looks epic near the Highlands E waterfall Cave. got my Dinos stored safely in the Cave and ive been slowly adding a wall and other buildings and bridges in this style around this Build! keep up the kick ass tutorial making!

If you're using S+ you can't place it. I was having that issue and solved it by using a vanilla ceiling instead of the S+ variant

Only one problem for me so far: at 26:00, putting all those points on the roof. I finished the first one just fine, but the other three had no snap points for the pillars when I put the catwalks down. Still can't figure out why. The ramps underneath are definitely snapped to the middle wall.

Great build. Working on it now. Why use the thatch walls around the outside? You can just flip the walls on top of the first row.

4 months behind but one fault that I see a lot when I flip the walls without thatch is they aren't center. it kind of hangs inward just a little bit and leaves a gap I can see through and doesn't give such a clean look Using the snapjoint on the that thatch ceiling- instead of flipping- allows the wall to line up in the dead center without any overlapping. this works best when I start the thatch from a snapjoint on a corner pillar -instead of the wall- so the ceiling itself hangs out a little from the wall. That's why his walls look so dang crisp and flat against eachother

Can anyone confirm if this works with s+ structures mod?? I tried an argy trap with s+ structures and ran into stone railings not snapping at some points...
