inter cooler will be full, same with intake, probably steam clean, hopefully the top end lived trough it lol

you may want to replace the innercooler or at the very least have it cleaned. that debris went into it then into the motor. i have never like oiled air filters myself but many do. i pre fer dry filters in a housing like donaldson or ump air intake systems. nice video, nice work guys! so at 265 hp, how much tq is that motor making??

We replaced the intercooler too! EVOs race version of the blizzard. Im not sure on torque off hand, let me check

Great video guys. Loved the DGAF attitude through the first half. Hope your cylinder walls and rings are ok with that sand going through the turbo. But if she rips good it must still have good compression.

Yea... if it doesn't survive we'll just rebuild it and go bigger lol. The cold side of the intercooler was clean. Seems like it was acting as a filter lol

Sorry about your turbo. Hope the engine is alright. Keep a close eye on the oil level. Don't be surprised if it starts using some. What kills the turbo usually does the same to the rings. All that dust you ride in probably loaded the filter and then it started sucking it inward. That is where a particle separator shines. The dirt never gets to the filter, just the fine dust which the filter can easily handle. Good luck my friend. Hope you get some time to rip before winter hits!

You are correct, Particle separator is one of the best addition you could add to your Sxs. One out of every 3 here in Utah run them.

I second watching the oil level and signs of increased blow-by. Dont chance it, run a compression and leak down test compared to Dozer's unit. The IC does not act like a filter. Usually the upper compression rings wear down and carbon starts packing in behind them. You'll definitely see more blow-by when this happens and if not addressed soon enough the ring breaks and tears up the cylinder. Theres a chance the Nikasil cylinder bores are still ok. If you wait 2 long she'll need a whole short block.

If you impeller is missing chunks...... you should probably rebuild the engine,the chunks will have gone trough your engine ie damage and scoring!

your video's and others like your channel are great. i do not own a sxs but rather a sand rail as i only play in the sand. i built my rail and 20 more like it in the past 18 years. i couldn't tell you how many times i have been told by guys with sxs's that they would never own a rail because they don't want to have to wrench on them. i about fall over laughing every time i hear that lol. doesn't matter what one plays with as long as there being safe and having fun.

So what exactly happened to the gearbox? Was it the clutch mod you installed and screwed it up? Or the gearbox was low on oil and you blew a gear tooth which in turn shredded the gears? Or it just happen to fail after your mods as a coincidence?

Fun stuff. Those air filters collapse when they get too dirty. Sucks a vacuum inside the filter. I suppose water might do it but it's usually dirt.

Might want to clean and inspect all the intake tubing and filter to find out how all that dirt got into the turbo, if not then i see a future rebuild coming soon if not already from the previous dirt and water getting into the turbo and intake /motor
