definitely don't need all the plastic, we have to do better on that front. if I needed work done it might be worth while to me.

Those "Originals" strings are really nothing special. In fact, I believe they're the most basic, no-frills set of strings that Martin carries formerly known as the "Acoustic" strings as evident by the purple color code. They're only $6/set ($5 only a year or two ago) so I was a little disappointed in getting that particular string set as part of the MOC package. I wouldn't be surprised if they are overstock due to their unpopularity. I'm trying not to be too negative, but I was disappointed with this year's MOC package offerings. I felt we got less in return for the increase in the membership fee. I'm hoping next year's package will make up for this year's underwhelming offerings.

Martin strings suck. Bought two sets for my acoustics and they sounded dead in a week.
