That's so true. He really didn't want to be a part of the war between the shuriman ascended. He was forced to because of someone close to him. Then he got caught in the cross fire between the battles. Then since he is a commander, he has to protect his army so he joined the fray. He believes that he himself is the hope of the people of shurima. Proceeded to get sealed for thousands of years. Woke up and realized he wasn't what he used to be. His own desire to escape the prison, which requires people too be sacrificed, twisted his morals. Then he went mad, real mad. Honestly it was the fault of the sealers, they should have known who is a threat and who isn't. And the human slaves under the shuriman empire betrayed the ascended by the way. Read the side stories of shurima, that one human woman that forced the two leaders fight to death (the wars were about to stop). She wanted them all dead apparently, make it a good ascended or a bad one. Aatrox is still cool though :D

Justin Vince Owen Zorilla No he sees him as fitting vessel. Aatrox and Rhaast have been inprisoned inside their weapons. They need a guy to possess to return into a something close to a former darkin. This is possibly why Rhaast's scythe has an eyeball and Aatroxes sword has a heart. Only connection Jax has to the darkin is that his people opened the Void rift which Sunborn (later Darkin) fought to close. For short. Icathia opens the gate => Sunborn fight it => Sunborn win => Xerath betrays Azir and takes his place => Renekton and Nasus inprison Xerath => Sunborn have no leader so they start to fight against eachother for power and later turn into Darkin by shaping themselves with blood magic to get more powerfull => Zoe gives people the knowlege to seal them in their weapons and you propably know the rest.

@@lukaskaufhold2354 This is canon. And it is okay. Only problem to me is that the lore was way different when Kayn/Rhaast and Varus lore rework was released. They originally came from different dimension. Varuses reworked lore even mentioned them coming from a rift. And he got sealed after Aatrox. Darkin lore was about Shurima aswell but instead of being some kind of fallen baddies who fought eachother they were organized cosmic conquerors. I get that this is more connected to the lore. I just don't like if Rito hypes people for telling us that they will talk about this more when we rework Aatrox and when they do they turned everything upside down. Imagine if they teased something like, "we will add new targonian aspect who is the one to do all kinds of cool shit" and when they release the guy they would be like, "He is a shuriman guy who just was there when stuff happened". Idk if u get my point but oh well.

Aatrox falls off late game while nasus scales infinitely. Maybe he wont one shot Aatrox, but the Aatrox would not be able to fight a nasus without backup from an adc.
