I still have a hard time playing aatrox, especially if I loose the lain. With other top laners I can just split push and gain strength from the farm. But it seems aatrox is a weak pusher or maybe skill issue

aatrox is a ok pusher, his split strength doesnt come from turet dmg but 1v1 pressure, itll usually take 2 people or more to kill you

you shouldn't looking too much to take turrets on split push, with new changes Aatrox now scale increadibly good in mid to late game but he's a bit ult rely champ now, you should looking for flank from split push, and Aatrox does gain a lot of strength from farm, a good flank catchup on the carry or a squishy champ would proly be a game changer

@@King-gv4lg I'd say he's neither or both at once. He is more so a catcher, and his base stats plus Q ratios as levels go matter more early on than alot of champs, you should be playing for levels 4, 5 and 6, aswell as 9 to 13. He definitely is not a farmer in the hardcore sense, if you spend al game farming you will fall behind or just not do alot compared to many other champs unless the enemy comp is highly immobile making easy q sweetspots possible. Gold is important but early on the levels arguably matter the most, gold is a longer term issue per game, he can safely bully many tops after level 5 until around level 10 ish unless youre quite behind. Essentially hes one of the worst champs in the game level 1-3 but at and after 4 his base damage becomes higher than many other characters, do any 1v1 versus any champ lvl 3 and lvl 4 and you will feel a huge difference, simply because of how his Q dmg works

Aatrox crushes most mages, but Aurora loses really hard. Aatrox w reveals her invis so if you hit her as soon as shes cast it you win the trade. Her ult also isnt as good as it seems for the matchup
