Dude, not that it matters but did you actually pull this off in one take? This song's always blown me away and this is something I've been saying all along on KZbin... Ray's taken progressive drumming and his own style to another level. Ray's playing is WAAAAAAY harder to figure out than anything else Portnoy's ever done and seeing you evolve into actually being able to play this shit is brilliant. Kudos to you, Mathias! Way to go, man you nailed it!

No it was not one take. :D I recorded the first part from the start to 3:36 min, then to 4:30 min and then the rest of the song. Oh yes you're right! Portnoys Playing is very easy compared to Ray's stuff. But it's lots of fun too. :)

Dude, you are insane. I remember watching your vids a few years back. The more i listen to this song, the more i want to play it, but since it's very hard and i do not yet play Haken much, i needed someone to rely on, to understand how the song works. When i saw this one, i thought, i remember this guy, he was awesome back then, let's see how he pulls it off. And holy crap.
