Helen was one only dancer of her kind, an unparalleled expert in almost all forms of dance. To match her talent, it would take out of the world grasp over the form of dance. And you are absolutely right. Vyjayanthimala's dance moves are a bit Indian.🎉

Vaiyajanti Mala is India's biggest classical dancer. But Helen was not classical dancer and proof is very evident in this dance. Look the hand postures of both.

Vyjayanthimala is untouchable in classical, but no one does cabaret/western like Helen. There's actually anither dance off song between them, but in it helen does 3 westernized dances while vyjayanthimala does 3 classical styles. I'll look it up and put the link.

This was definitely a Helen song.... Vyjantimala was always better with classical traditionally never liked when she tried to do contemporary. I really liked Asha Parekh for classical and contemporary as she was always versatile in acting and dance. 🙂
