AB 1535 & DBZ 2301 are hauling ARC Infrastructure loaded rail train to Brunswick Jcn. 10 June 2024.

Part One:
Watco crew on board, the rail train is videoed first up, at Wellard loop. 09.25 hrs.
Then arriving at Mundijong, for a cross with empty caustic. 10.05 hrs
The building in view, at the end of this scene. Is the former Mundijong Station building, which was relocated from the other side of the tracks, in 1999.
Mundijong Station opening in 1883, was originally named Jarrahdale Junction, then changed to Mundijong in 1902.
The rail train, is next seen departing Mundijong for Brusnwick Jcn, via Pinjarra. 10.27am.
Videoed Monday 10 June 2024.
A few lengths of rail was, dropped on the eastern leg of Pinjarra Wye Junction. (Connecting line to Calcine siding, Alcoa Alumina Refinery, Pinjarra).
The rail train will then , continue on to Brunswick Jcn. To be stabled overnight, for two days of rail drops up towards Hamilton. Worsley South32 Alumina Refinery.

I had forgotten that Hamilton has a balloon loop, so the AB could be leading back as well.

Yes. I actually drew a diagram of two days in a row of which loco would be leading out of Brunswick Jcn for the Hamilton rail drops. Yep, going with your guesstimate, the AB is leading on the return trip back, Thursday.

Hi there. Thanks for watching. There'are rail fans who have mates that work on the railways. And then there's model railway clubs, where information can be known. I am lost without TIF. Sometimes I'll get a message passed on to me, of a special train movement. That helps a lot.🙂

Classic Westrail pairing. Why bring the AB? Insurance? The DBZ could have hauled that train by itself in both directions.
