yeah i like the idea of stating your age, weight, height, and how long you've been working out like this for, or how much you mix it up between the gym and calisthenics. (short and sweet, just an intro of who we are learning from) never the less, thanks for the videos!

I use handpads daily but I just got a blister after 2 weeks of the more pull ups program,is there any other way of preventing blisters or do i just have to adapt?

hey, i dont usually bother people asking for advices or dumb questions in the comments section but this time i'm really confused. i've been working out hard for about a year, so i'm not crazy good so far, i've completed different work outs, the 5x5, the 12 weeks buffdudes program and for my abs and core i train with passion4profession videos and abs challenges. But i'm 3.3 tall and even tho there's like, 4 or 5 ceiling bars or whatever u call those at my gym, none of them are high enough for me to let my legs dangle like Freddy. so here is how it goes, my legs are quite bent at the knees even before i start, i'm at an obtuse angle from the bar to my feet on the floor, which also keeps me from keeping a fully straight back. lifting my bent legs up makes my back arch even more and it doesnt feel like i'm lifting my legs up as much as curling myself up in a ball or something. straightening my legs mid air makes me swing a lot, but i can only straighten my legs when my feet arent touching the floor anymore, halfway thru the movement. I dont think this is just an issue with low ceilings at my gym, they arent that low, and tbh, most guys are just so tiny they put a stepper under most bars or have to jump in the air to reach the bars, that's just the world i live in. The strain on my shoulders is really something. so much that i think this would make a super good shoulder workout, but i dont feel any strain on my abs. when i lower my legs i swing a lot more than freddie, my body really swings back and my legs are bent because the bar is too low, which i think makes me swing even more. so would the fact the bars are too low and keep me from achieving proper form explain why this, even the "easier" version of this, is SO HARD for me to do? or do i just have a weak core and need to work out harder? because i totally wanna keep trying but i dont wanna hurt my back or shoulders either. I also follow freddie's free style abs and that's an amazing workout but i've just started, and maybe i should just stick to this one until i find a gym with crazy high ceiling bars ;)

I'v been doing these un-religiously for a while now because I wasn't sure if they were effective or not, and now I know that they are. However for tall people like me (6' 4") a bar tall enough to allow me to hang is not always available, what I do with my iron gym, it took me a while to build up my arm strength, is I do a flex arm hang along with these excersizes. That allows me to build my biceps, my abs and also allows me to do this more places :D

Yes agreed, good call, to get ripped abs and overall strong core these are great exercises vs. sit-ups or crunches, but the belly (for most men) is simply the last place the body will release fat from.
