Unfortunately, parents need to stay informed on what the ABA program looks like in your particular school. In schools in SC they try "Behavioral Interventions" that they basically pull out of a list of things they can use. However, many times doesn't meet the science or medical model. If they can't bill insurance and Medicaid for the service they are providing then are they providing ABA? In alot of cases the answer is no. For us we asked for the RAW data for ABA and compared it to our providers data. The data was flawed with gaps missing for up to TWO WEEKS.
