It has so much character and style I could never sell it, even though tons of people have tried to buy it. to be able to run again it only needs a coil, ( stole it for my john deer when i was mowing!) new battery and fuel. You give me hope for mine: '62 F100 4x4 step side in Caribbean Turquoise, inline six, three on the tree, power nothin'. It does have the three extra leaves in the rear springs like yours. Originally purchased by my ex's grandfather when he was 82 years old. He lived to be 92, then his two sons kept the farm and the truck, but never lived there. Ex's dad bought out his brother in the 1970s, I came on the scene in 1984 when the truck had 13K miles. It slowly crept up over the years until around 2000 when the family hired a new farm hand who liked driving the truck to town - 16 miles one way. I visited before that and the truck had 19K, and by the next time I visited it had 29K. In 2003, with 30,300 miles on it, it was given to me. I've kept it garaged and driven it a little (it still has standard, not antique, plates and passes inspection) and last year it finally rolled over 40K. It's all original, but during those years on the farm it wasn't babied. Cattle farm + old men driving means it has plenty of cow and shed door dents. People keep telling me to "clean off those bird droppings" but it's white paint from when the truck was used as a scaffold when painting the barn. I've replaced the brake lines (and Inline Tube should still have the pattern if you're so inclined), some steering parts, tires, and all of the U-joints but otherwise it is untouched. I hope someday to get it fully restored but until then, I keep it inside, drive it once in a while, and wonder if/when I will get the $$ to have it done. I don't have the tools or a place to use them to do the job myself - plus, I don't want it to look like an amateur did it!

Hot Water Heater is so “normal” in Australia that I have never even thought of that being a problem. We’d never unthaw anything however :)

Love those old trucks. Had a 63 unibody 292 stick back in the day. 14 miles per gallon on the highway. Not four-wheel drive but I love that old truck.

Hey mortske. I dont have a hood, but on my truck i used a piece of 1x4 and layed in the gap between the hood and cowl. Lay one end of the board on the rad support and the other on the wiper cowl. As you take the bolts out, the board will catch the hood and support it. The board just acts as a helping hand so the hood isnt wobbling all over when undoing bolts.

Hi Mortske and Duff. That engine gave you some headaches. But as always, with Duffs help and expertise you got there in the end 😂😂😆. The Duff cam is a nice touch, as we can see him enjoying himself when he goes for a ride. Again thoroughly enjoyed watching. Cheers Chris.
