Abandoned 1970’s Schindler Lifts

Here’s some abandoned Schindler lifts in a abandoned office building which are looking in a very sorry state!

Schindler's Lift doesn't quite have the same ring to it but I bet it would make a hell of a movie

That is a really nice find seeing abandoned lifts in such a rather good state. Still would prefer them in a working state of course. Geared DC Schindler lifts are something extremely rare as most faster geared Schindlers of that time had a Dynatron drive.

Yes, definitely a rare and unique find I also found a Schindler dumbwaiter where I was surprised the dumbwaiter served all the floors like the main lifts

@@ArthursLiftAdventures That's interesting. Schindler and also Schlieren often installed dumbwaiter-style lifts or paternosters for files in larger office buildings, or such made for food in hospitals. These can get pretty tall.
