My take on this house - while waiting for probate, beneficiary executor rents out house as holiday accomm, beneficiary gets approval to sell estate, not wanting all that old stuff.

I adored the front door. Beautiful carving. If I lived there, I would find a way to get to that house and take the little Merkat with the welcome sign. It's the type of silly little thing I like. The stacked stone fireplace and chimney are also very nice. This would be a very typical 60s home in the US as well.

Are most of these homes in Adelaide? Also, you shared that your Grand Dad(if I recalled right?) was a building/home mover? Is this why you're such an architectural lover? My Dad built, and remodeled homes/ buildings. I spent a lot of time watching work from the cab of an old Ford pick up. Lunch, and after work I had "guided tours" of those structures. Things were way different back then. Those were the best time of my life. I love your videos. Thank You for making them.

And the poor unfortunate back door with amber glass. Oh, forgot about the tub. I wish they made them like they used too. The house's now just get slapped up in three weeks or less. I saw five house's put up like I said within three weeks. From the foundation pour to puting on the stucco. They did not insulate the walls either. I heard a clinking sound from inside my house. Looked out the window and saw the roofer's putting trash in between the walls. Chip bag's, sandwich wraps, and drink bottle's. No wonder the bug's get in the house. They were laughing about putting trash in between the walls.

Can we do it on Facebook

It MIGHT'VE been a Air BnB for awhile. Guess the owners just couldn't get much out of the business or use of it. Seems to have been abandoned for months. I'd say maybe 6 to 12 months. Or, at most, a year. I do like the layout and style of it. And is great shape inside. Not sure about the outside.

Spot on MrOnyxWolf, been vacant around 15 months, I guess they could not make it work as a BnB if that what it was. thanks for watching :-)

Although there's nothing quite unique or special about this home, its a shame that they're going to demolish it. (The deep tub is nice tho). Here in America we have our commode in the same room as the tub, so this set up is odd to me. Thanks for another video pal. I hope you have a good weekend. ☺

Hi Dandy Lion, I would say half the homes here in Australia have the commode in the bathroom and half in its own small room like this. :-) Cheers for watching

It could very well be a Air BnB accommodation, or a rental for students.

Agreed rolf, one of those sound the best to explain this scenario. cheers mate, :-)

Cool find! Has to be AirBandB. Love the door and the fireplace. Was that in a bad area hence the bars? As always love to Nicolai! Cheers Paul! 😻😻
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy, not considered a bad area really I guess the previous owners or purpose required those which makes it more a mystery, but perhaps BnB is the best answer, Cheers for watching again :-)

Maybe it was a used as some kind of halfway house because of the bars on the windows . Is that common in your country?
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Here in Australia Mimi :-) I agree it was used as something along those lines. Gee I hope someone saves all the furniture, cheers for watching :-)

And you just wander in off the street thru an open door?

It was that easy mate 🙂 In all seriousness these places are about to be demolished, it is amazing what gets left behind and wasted in the demo process.

This being a B&B seems very likely. The furniture is not fancy but also isn't poor quality. An interesting 60's style house. It's still a shame to see a perfectly good place torn down. The fireplace/chimney was the feature I liked best, the welcome sign made me smile. I wonder why the security bars. Was this a bad area or neighborhood? Have a great weekend. Hope your weather's fine. Here in Michigan we have snow already, hopefully it won't last. 😶
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Hi Lynne, the neighborhood is not considered bad really but I guess the previous owners at some point were very conscious of security haha. Nice place and I guess if it were a bnb it must not have went too well. Cheer for watching :-)

I think something smells like bull shit fake how do you people fined the houses
@geraldlarocque68325 жыл бұрын
Probly was a b n b which explains why everything was left. Nobody wanted beds that everyone slept on. The signs on the doors like bathroom n bedroom also suggest that. Thanx

Air BnB is the probable explanation to be fair although the personal possessions, bunk beds and Chinese elements suggest maybe a family was deported at very short notice? I am intrigued to where the car is that belongs to those keys - that suggests a quick getaway if a car was left... lovely house and criminal that it got knocked down! Great explore

Every Chinese place I have found has been vacated quickly and most things just left. This is the 3rd type

Sometimes you can understand leaving furniture behind but to leave paper work with names and such on them. Are B&B's a big business there?
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Air BnB`s are not that big here as far as I know Jo, but I guess maybe thats why it failed if it was one? Cheers for watching :-)
