I adored the front door. Beautiful carving. If I lived there, I would find a way to get to that house and take the little Merkat with the welcome sign. It's the type of silly little thing I like. The stacked stone fireplace and chimney are also very nice. This would be a very typical 60s home in the US as well.

"Make good things happen"...words to live by. So much of happiness is a matter of perspective. Never seen that kind of paneling here in the US, it looks nice. We tend to have the real cheap cardboard-like stuff in older homes. Nice house, think you're onto something, it was probably an AirBnB rental, it didn't look like most of what was left there was very personal...that Meerkat statue though, cool. :) Nice to find you on Instagram...followed.

Another home bites the dust. Large blocks are perfect for developers to put high density homes on. Absolute shame. Nothing really outstanding but a home in need of an upgrade, but the security bars are something I've never encountered in that design and the chimney is a true feature. Like my area, demolitions are still a common occurrence as home purchasers want the area, not the building. 👍👍🇦🇺

And the poor unfortunate back door with amber glass. Oh, forgot about the tub. I wish they made them like they used too. The house's now just get slapped up in three weeks or less. I saw five house's put up like I said within three weeks. From the foundation pour to puting on the stucco. They did not insulate the walls either. I heard a clinking sound from inside my house. Looked out the window and saw the roofer's putting trash in between the walls. Chip bag's, sandwich wraps, and drink bottle's. No wonder the bug's get in the house. They were laughing about putting trash in between the walls.

Air BnB is the probable explanation to be fair although the personal possessions, bunk beds and Chinese elements suggest maybe a family was deported at very short notice? Hi Leslie :-) Funny you ask because I also have another channel dedicated to paranormal investigating but when I go to these houses I try and get a feel of weather something maybe off or active and some homes do have a distinct feel of still being occupied or watched over if that makes sense. Yes, I also hate to lose the beautiful historic homes as well. But they can always be moved to another location if they truly are historically significant . But I just wanted to remind people that sometimes sacrifices must be made, for the greater good. Sometimes people go nuts because three or four cool old houses have to be torn down to put up apartments that people need. In a location that they need. Also people don’t understand that usually you can’t just cleanup an old house and move right in. It costs more to repair them, than they’ll ever be worth. It’s give and take.

Hey mate ,, what makes it attractive as an air bnb ,, is it near a beach or an attraction,, I can only think location ,but it’s still a nice place . I see the tv is gone but demo dudes may have taken that ,,, must be tempting sometimes but I understand the urbex code is look don’t touch which must be hard when you find a rockin hat like that 👍
@urbexindigo51644 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah mate that hat was real tempting, had plans to wear it out on the town but just could not take it haha. Kind on close to the beach but not really lol, but close to the airport :-) Cheers for watching again mate :-)

Maybe it was a used as some kind of halfway house because of the bars on the windows . Is that common in your country?

Here in Australia Mimi :-) I agree it was used as something along those lines. Gee I hope someone saves all the furniture, cheers for watching :-)

I do love a deep cast iron tub where you can sink up to your neck in water. Looked like teak wood or some better quality paneling. Cool

Hi Paul. Hope you'll be ok with all the crazy things going down on You Tube since Goggle bought it. Have you been told to set your channel to Kids or Adults? I don't know how to do it. Anyway there's been talk of if your channel doesn't have ads, like mine, that they will delite the channel anyway. It starts on 10th of Dec. 2019. I only have like 188 subs but I'd hate to loose my channel but that's life. I really liked the little guy with the welcome sgin, I wish it could be saved, but it will probably be distoryed. I wouldn't want to be there if there were ever a fire with all the bars. Is that a rough neighborhood? Maybe it was a drug/booze rehabilitation place & the bars helped to keep folks there, or folks on house arrest were there. I wonder if whomever lived there were killed in a car accident or something. Well another nice yet sad find. I guess the sgin "Welcome" should say "Good bye" huh. If I lose my channel I'll be watching way less of You Tube and watch my Xfinity 1 I pay alot for but have barely been watching. You Tube will be going down the tubes as many video creators are being shut down & I guess parents will use You Tube like a baby sitter. Goggle got fined big time for collecting info on children of all things. Goggle doesn't want to pay big time for storage of videos that don't make them money BUT YET they claim they can TAKE a video creator's videos from them and use them any way they want. Figure 'THAT ONE' out. I may leave You Tube altogether don't know yet, & close down two Paytron accounts if that happens to Oddie & John P. ....sad stuff. I hope the $25. I sent to your land /house thing in Australia is still going strong. Cheers for now.

Hi Ruth, not heard about the delete if no adds allowed lol I dont have adds either only adds they have put on are from copyright strikes whre someone else claims the music and wants adds on in exchange. I dnt think they are going to delete channels for not having adds, that will be the kiss of death for youtube. I think this place may have been a furnished rental or bnb I guess little mr Meerkat would know but he did not speak up haha :L-) Google sound like bullies, I will have to research more. Cheers for watching Ruth :-)

@@urbexindigo5164 Did not speak, ha, ha, ha. His sgin should say, "Save Me!" 😨 (Splat when ceiling falls) You might want to check this out. Channel: Derral Eves video: $42,530. Fine Per Video...FTC is coming for You You Tube Creators He has other vids on the subject ) Channel: Smash JT The End? You Tube Terms of Servace Policy Updates Threatens Creators. The Channel: Nick Nimmin Small You Tubers Don't Do This Oddie from ObsuleteOddie.com told me to do this: Go to You Tube Studieo then go to the left side & find "Settings" Click on that and on 'Channel'-- then to 'advanced' I guess that's where you decide to set your channel to 'Kid' or 'Adult' mode. I haven't checked that out yet as I got it at 4 or 5 am. If you don't make the big bucks for Goggle/YT THEY may just decide to shut down a channel is what I got from the videos. Some creators were talking about going to Desk Top, who knows. JPVideos will be on some time tonight US time to talk about some changes to his channel, doesn't sound good. He has an all round family channel, but does stuff like Ghost hunt, food reviews, abanded buildings so how is he soposed to set to 'Kid's or 'Adults' or maybe have to set each video one or the other. That leaves one opened to crazy 'interpertations' wouldn't you think? I bet Disney started this whole thing to screw with Cable TV companies and You Tube. Disney has been trying to get folks to stream load their stuff and may be trying to get rid of other choices so people would be FORCED to sub to them. I'D RATHER WATCH PAINT DRY...😄😃😂😁 then to be 'forced' to watch anything. There are things out there called...BOOKS!!! DUH....Who wants to go Metal Dectecting!! I just found some nice rings around the shoreline, one is almost a 5 caret white diamond ring, a yellow diamond, with with diamonds, an almost 5 caret Blue Saff. BUT I can't let on about it or even try to sell any till I get out of the Hud apartment system, they are hidden safely away & if fire bell goes off I just slip a bag on my shoulder, bye building😉 Let's go Metal detecting Paul😎 Maybe the 'dude' with the 'Welcome' sgin knows the way to some untold treasures....
