On the caviler I'd keep the factory color even though it's not the best color. It's cheaper It's original, and there's no different color when you raise the hood.

Best way to clean out the coolant system is 2 gallons of white vinegar with distilled water drive it for bout 2 days then flush it u can't imagine what comes out been doing it for years And them 5.9s are Notorious for cooling problems everytime I buy a durango with the 5.9 first thing I do is change the radiator water pump and thermostat and sometimes the heater core

Really enjoying the videos about this truck. I have a lot of nostalgia for these trucks because my late grandpa drove a second-gen 2500 Cummins with an extended cab in the same color. Every time I visited him, I'd love riding in it. The part of the video where y'all were driving into the sunset on a country road with several boxes of Hunt Brothers Pizza in the middle of the bench seat reminded me of one time when I did the same thing while visiting my grandma in Texas a few years ago, except that was in a Honda Civic.

Love the videos. But, those are the wrong center caps. Those are the center caps for the chrome steel wheels. The ones for those alloy wheels are more rounded and more slim.

I have a 2000 dodge ram Laramie slt quad cab long bed 5.2 318 magnum v8 46RE AT 1500 4X4 176k miles and has the premium infinity 6 speaker amplifier filters sound system and the tweeters on the windshield pillars and the Chrysler cassette tape player CD am/FM stereo receiver, and the gloss black and white pinstripe might have been silver pinstripe originally anyways it's factory wheels are the same full polished aluminum wheels you put on the sport and I always thought that the sport 2wd or 4x4 got the 5 spoke star wheels until the 98-2001 sport off road edition got American racing equipment atlas polished aluminum wheels.

Dunno if that truck has a smog pump, but if it does, my money is on that being the source of the noise - but my experience is with Fords. Which brings me to something I saw on a Mustang forum: Apparently, there's a place to add oil to a Ford (Thermactor) smog pump, and it doesn't hurt to pour in a little Automatic Transmission Fluid. Could the MOPAR smog pumps be the same way? Does that truck even have a smog pump?

I have 2002 truck with 5.9 magnum 2 door regular cab an I have had for 3 yrs now an basically done same thing to it .. it has only 85 thousand original miles ! Fully loaded too An all works excellent ! I love driving it ! Where did you get the dash cover for it. An I can’t wait to see the fresh paint job on it too !! Great job man 👍

I live here in okc. I have a 2000 ram 1500 with a 5.9L and I had a similar issue. Turned out to be my flex plate that was crack and causing the misfire and rpm jumping like that.

I just bought 4 16 inch steel wheels for my 2001 Dodge sport, to replace the factory wheels that are on it, mainly because 2 of then you need to retorque 4or5 times when ever you pull them off and replace

Spray some WD40 on the belts iff the squeak stops just been a dry dusty belt and just replace the belt with a new one,, and eliminate paying out straight away for a water pump,,, Or else just bite the bullet and put new belts and water pump on then you can rest knowing that you have done them

Florescent lights make things look green. Change out those shop lights in the garage to LEDs. Costco has them cheap. They daisy chain. You can hook up 6 to one outlet. 6 will give you enough light in the garage.

35:19 sounds like your pulley's are misaligned. if i were you id replace your idler pulley and get a belt with different patterns on it. gatorbelts from amazon are pretty cheap
