It's funny that Wallie and Kayla's favorite menu item at Applebee's is the 4 cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders because that's my favorite too! Always sad to see a restaurant closed and abandoned, but as they all say, nothing lasts forever.

At about 2:50 while Kayla was explaining this Applebee's situation , and Wallie was filming inside , the reflection on the glass shows someone walking behind Wallie and Kayla . Who was he ? Always go to the Applebee's on Military Road in Niagara Falls, NY with my wife on one of our cross border shopping trips . It was still open Summer 2019 but we haven't been back since .You know why. We can't even cross the border into the USA !

I have eaten at my apple bees many times and I mostly like it! Had two abandoned ones near me, but both times got shafted on the video! Both taken over by something; one the footage I had was crummy due to cold! 😭 Like good they aren't empty, but annoying that planned vids get cancelled!

It has been empty for years and if you go up to 51 in back of I Hop there is an abandoned Denny's. Also in Weatherford Texas. It is the second time a Denny's has been abandoned in Weatherford. The first time is a dinner looking building just less then a mile from the Applebee's ( it's now a Mexican restaurant )

It seems like location choice of closure is regardless; several Applebees in the mountain time zone have closed even despite being in a busy area so IDK what's up. A Similar thing happened to the now closed BK north of Cheyenne, Wy.

I ate there just 2 weeks before they closed. The food and service were horrible. For an hour they kept telling us our food was coming. We got up to leave and they were like it's almost here. Several times we asked them to turn the ac off and it got colder. We weren't surprised it closed.

Bell probably for deliveries, that's my guess. I've yet to try the Dr. Pepper shake. Whataburger sold out to a company in Illinois I think last year or so. I'm thinking the chain will eventually expand. For years been in Texas, New Mexico & Arizona but not sure what other states if any. Thank you for sharing Wallie & Kayla! 🙂👍

Food at this place was so-so, staff was indifferent, people started to go out of their way to NOT go there. The last year or two it was open, the majority of customers were 20-somethings flying through the walmart parking lot to go there to drink cheap beer. No loss.

We have both In/Out Burger and Whataburger here in AZ. Whataburger by far and away is the clear choice. They are much better and a hell of a lot cheaper than Five Guys too.

Very dusty in there too, can see a few cobwebs aswell. From my understanding, this Applebee’s temporarily closed every so often for some types of renovations. Perhaps it closed for remodeling now and then. I can understand that. According to Kayla once it closed in 2018, it never reopened. The outro song is called "Exhibition Park" by this vaporwave artist called Waterfront Dining. They really make some good vaporwave music.
