Most hospitals of that era had incinerators - not for bodies or even body parts, but for clinical waste like bandages, sanitary stuff etc etc. Crematoria ovens for bodies have to burn at an astoundingly high temperature, it's highly unlikely (and probably illegal by the era of this place) to cremate on-site.

Guys your dumb, the place is filled with esbestace. Judge Alum took me on my tour He and a few others own a couple of the buildings. The floors are marked with tiles of authenticity. Massillon city stores their grass seed fertilizer and park supplies and vehicles in the old kitchen and dining area. I have video of our tour the air conditioning units are on the roof so watch your heads. The heating pipes are under ground all the way out to the steam room on the golf course.

Once I ran away from home because my dad was drinking. (I ran away for like 4 days. I just needed a break). Anyways. I ran away with my two best friends Jackie and Tom. And there was a cellar full of water. And I fell threw the Floor and into the water. And stinked so bad. Idk if anyone's reading this, but the idea of hydrotherapy for mental health was that "warm baths are replacing, let's put these hyperactive patients in a hot bath to relax them" and the did the opposite with lethargic patients. The problem was tbat I didn't actually work, and patients were left in the tubs for hours or even days

Why in the hell would there be a morgue in a nut house? How much torture was inflicted on these people? The water tank were filed with ice water, they were not used for therapy in the since you think, they would be more like torture tanks. Why would they need I V lines?

... It's set up like a hospital, most mental asylums have morgues. They die their and keep them there until the funeral co comes etc. nothing bad haha, my mum works in a mentally ill prison and they have a morgue.....

+Ray Mott The lines were actually G.I. lines not the kind that go into your vein. Some mentally ill people will refuse to consume food and must be force fed to keep them alive. These tube would aid in that as the liquid diet would go in the container and then the tubes down the throat into the stomach then gravity would do its magic and the nutritional liquid would enter the patients stomach. It would also aid in other disorders where the patient wasn't refusing food but couldn't swallow properly or something similar. Since that was a modern building they didn't use those tubs for the ice water baths that you were thinking of. That was basically torture and has since fallen out of favor and now would be considered malpractice so they were probably for physical therapy or soothing a person or something not really sure. :) The morgue is pretty common as these places were used like hospitals and people lived there long term and some would die. Pretty sure that they would go to the ME now a days after being stored at the mental hospital for a bit, not too sure on that one either but I hear it is usual for them to have a morgue.
