I used to go to this particular Bahama Breeze and sit where you could watch the team cook the food on an open grill. Fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere. Had live calypso bands on weekends. It was a shock they closed this. Covid took its toll but thought it would come back eventually. We Clevelanders, especially my family, wish it would. It stayed packed. Beautiful place it was.

@@baddazzdebbiej4662 prejudice is an opinion. Everybody’s prejudice. We all prejudge. It’s a sick thing that you’re glad it’s closed and all those people lost their jobs. How does that make you feel? Sounds like you’re just as hateful as the so-called “prejudice”, people that work there. 🇺🇸God Bless America🇺🇸

The Redmar shopping center in Radcliff, KY is no more. The one with the Corvette, Porsche, and Jag in a back room garage. Passed the place today and not much remains - just a section of concrete where the loading docks were, a red trash container and a backhoe.

Darden restaurants can rot! They thought they were sly selling off Red Lobster, but Olive Garden is their main now, and it's not doing very well overall either. Of course I know most restaurants are down since Covid, but I'm thinking Darden misses that RL revenue. I worked for RL for five years before the sale.

That location closed after a huge fight involving customers vs staff. The fight was well publicized because of the racial aspect, and many slurs used. there were lot of people involved. There were tons of videos at the time. It was on all the local news channels for days.

It's really sad to see things like this. I ate there a couple of times, once on a date with my then girlfriend and another time with my mother for lunch. I remember it being a lively atmosphere. It's sad to think that at one time there was a flurry of activity taking place in that ghost town of a building, and I was a part of it. To be honest though, it was a little weird to have a Caribbean themed restaurant in a suburb of a gloomy cold weather city like Cleveland. Not very authentic.
