Hello from Slovenia. I used to do some detailing like you like 20yrs ago. The fact is that premium cars clean up much nicely than cheaper ones. The good quality materials just stand the test of time. For example: -Paintwork way to shiney -Absence of accumulated dust on hood while back side is dusty -5 to 10 years ago these were valuable as well, nobody parks it with the top open in a haybarn -Seats are looking too good underneath the hay -Weird mud splash over the car hood like you actually tossed a bucket over it -Inconsistend heaps of hay against wheels while parked in front of new bales -Barn floor underneath front section of car is squeaky clean -For an active stable it should be terribly in the way for forklifts or machinery going in and out -and so on..

Just came across this video. Nice detailing job. Thought I'd share something with your viewers as there seemed to be a lot of viewers for the E30. In South Africa we had the same range including the 320i, which I had. Not nearly as powerful but very smooth and classy, and there lay the design flaw. At around the 100k km mark, the car experiences starting issues when cold. That's because there is now a measurable amount of wear on the rings, not enough to make the engine fume. What happens is when parked, all the oil goes down into the sump, and the next morning when the key is turned, the first thing that happens is that the injectors spray the remaining oil film off the cylinder walls, lowering the compression momentarily, wetting the plugs and now you're stuck. The solution was to install a Cold Start E-Prom.Not a component, but an update on the chip in the ECU which introduced a 3 revolution delay on the fuel pump allowing compression to jump back up to normal. Worked like a charm!

Great video, but a few pointers (that may have been off camera). When cleaning the leather seats, make sure to use a damp towel to wipe down to get the remaining soap/ product off - then wipe dry again. I know the seat is clean, but there is a slight haze that does contribute the quicker cracks in the leather layer. The leather treatment looks slights shiny on the video, that should be a matt finish. Also, clean the corners of the rims. Do more than 1 treatment on the carpet as stubborn dirt on the rear loosens after a while of soap there.
