This is the story of the book 'Alone in the world' by Hector malot. It is a beautiful story and I encourage everyone to read the original book since it is really good and way less clichee than the movie

I met the mom of a boy like this. He was so smart that at preschool she started being advised to get a a special education for him. His teacher said he is progressing far to fast to be in preschool, i think he needs a specialist who is equipped to help him become his best self. When mom looked into it, and had him tested, they were assigned a team for him. He was a random adoption. She got a treasure.

Honestly all i'm seeing is the reacuring greed in this film, the adopted father only taking remi in, in hopes of getting a reward but when a decade passes he tries to dump him in an orphanage completely dissreguardant of his wife feelings. Then remi's evil uncle who tried to have him killed so he could take the family fortune for himself but the servant he tasked to do so couldn't do so left him in front of a church where his adopted father found him, eventually remi was able to reunite with his biological mother and expose what his uncles actions getting him arrested and living happily with his biological mother. Over the years instead of pursuing a career in music he turned his home into an orphange for children without families and during those years married lisa living the rest of his life happy and contempt.

@@sujinimori9549 No Remi was a boy my mother read us the story when we where little children and my brother found a reprint about 10 - 15 years ago and gave it to all of us. it is a beautiful written book, I found it in english , but it was written very poorly, the german version has a lot more feeling and much more details in it. I listened to this clip and it is also not the right story too bad that they can not just show it the way it was written.

@@sujinimori9549 I wish you could read the german book it is much more detailed and adventures written with heart and the kid learning every day something new, he learns how to survive , how he learned to be a street performer from the good man who bought him, how they could find the only shelter in a manure pile because it was warm and where his benefactor froze during the night,but keeping him warm, when he was found by a gardener who took him in and let him work for him and so many more details it is a wonderful book and it makes me sad that something so beautiful and written with so much feeling gets torn apart by people who want to just make it their own story
