It's pronounced Hen - r👁️ - ko. A lot of people don't know how to say it if you're not from the area so you get a pass! LoL! The county is one of the oldest in the entire country. Used to stop at that location periodically when going to work at the Sheriff's Office. I always found that it was an odd sitting store with the very narrow drive through & how you'd have to circle all the way back around the store to access the side road just to go to the light & get back onto West Broad Street. You definitely don't see those color patterns anymore!

An awesome abandoned BK video, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I really miss the old school aesthetics in fast food restaurants, like BK. Here in Weirton WV, we once had a BK on Three Springs Drive and that BK had the old school aesthetics. BK is now downtown on Freedom Way on the south end of Weirton. DQ is on Three Springs Drive at the former BK location. On a side note--we once had an airport here in Weirton, WV on Three Springs Drive, from 1950--1972. The airport was of course, Weirton airport. The airport, was on the same side of the Kmart shopping Plaza is. The Weirton airport started where Eat N Park is and continued on down to about where the Busy Beaver lumber yard is located. The airport didn't have a control tower, so pilots had to circle the field, until they got permission to land. The airport had one landing strip. I was 9, 10 years old, when the airport closed When Weirton airport was open, Three Springs Drive was lot narrower, just enough room for vehicles could pass each other in opposite directions. Kmart opened up here in Weirton WV in 1974 and unfortunately closed in April 2017.

@AshleySpring-w8u no, we don't have an abandoned BK here in Weirton WV. The BK on Three Springs Drive closed and moved downtown on the south end of Weirton on Freedom Way. When the BK Three Springs Drive location closed, the building was torn down and a DQ grill and chill was built in BK place.

NO WAYYYY!!!!! You're right across the street from Merchant's Walk, where Odd Balls, one of my favorite antique stores is located! My uncle and aunt used to live right around there before they moved! There was a Hess gas station there too which is now a Speedway - I used to get secondhand Hess trucks right there at Odd Balls. Correction - the Hess/Speedway is now a Marathon.

I’d say the drive through was an add on here as the delivery truck would have it blocked when making a delivery. It’s also quite narrow as you pointed out. This building might be 40 years old or so.
