You have such patience with the plastering. I’d be cussing and throwing tools. Love Ziggy’s signature on the wall. Ann in Indiana 🇺🇸

I rewired my 1st house 22 years ago and this (the prvious video) brings back so many memories. Pulling wires is a young man's game. Hell of a workout. Glad I did it when I did it! I think wiring is one of the most satisfying things you can do. Getting switches and outlets where you want them really makes it your house. Your plaster work is admirable! Is there a video that goes over your floor plan? Maybe I missed it. I've been methodically working through your videos since I found your channel and sometimes I get lost and am not quite sure where you are and how various rooms/doors relate to other rooms/doors.

Beautiful job. Great content and editing. You packed in so much in under 14mins. I predict your channel is going to grow exponentially. Thank you!

3:17 : only one solution I know of. Provided the cat doesn't have to defend itself against other animals. Get a pair of nail clippers from the vet or the pet shop.And just clip the very tip off its nails. The vet or pet shop owner can show you if need be. Doesn't prevent all scratching, esp. soft surfaces, but it helps. Scratching poles usually are not a preferred surface. A piece of coarse carpet nailed against the wall will work better,

Please swap out the synthetic rope for a natural alternative... plastic fiber can splinter under the cats nails. ❤ Fantastic work on the home, just found your account yesterday and binging my way through it.🎉

Thanks, you’ll be pleased to know Ziggy didn’t touch the synthetic rope & I replaced it with some chunky Sisal rope (as a subscriber suggested) & he loves sinking his claws into it now. 😸

Try a round ended pool trowel and a fine spray bottle you can over time get a glass finish.

Can you tell me how fine a grain of silica sand you use and does this give a really smooth finish or slightly coarse? Thanks! Plasterwork is looking fine, I hope you left some cat paw marks somewhere🐱 Edit: Just saw the end of the video and Ziggy's stamp of approval 🙂
@theroundcorner9 күн бұрын
It’s pretty smooth, not sure exactly size wise. Working the fat from the like gets it really smooth

The lime plaster looks satisfying, as well as being appropriate. Did Ziggy pay any heed to the scratching post?
@theroundcorner6 ай бұрын
Strange, my replies to you seem to disappear. He’s not bothered by it, I think it needs fluffier rope
@sylvanaire5 ай бұрын
@@theroundcorneryes, I was out here suggesting sisal rope the whole time you were wrapping the pole. 😅 Also, you need to redirect him away from your furniture and onto the pole a few times for him to get the idea of what you want him to do with the scratching post, lol.
