When Gwen & Billy 1st saw the convent they told us how big it was and how they wanted to bring it back to life
Some time after Gwen & Billy bought the neglected Convent and the rest is history
Today i get an amazing tour with Gwen ‪@ThePethericks‬ and Michael ‪@DoingItOurselvesOfficial‬ helps us film it all :)
The amount of work and dedication to bring this historical building back to its former glory is admirable
We can't wait to see what Gwen & Billy decides to do with the Convent but the time being we admire their hard work .

I'm only here from Anna and Edd. I love that Staircase. I'm glad it wasn't a Convent School because all I can think of is how much nastiness and punishments was dished out in such places. They'll maybe find children's bodies buried in the gardens too like in Ireland. Just look at that secret room. Scary stuff, I'd stuff I'd love to read its history before raising children there.

Gwen, Billy. We have to talk. During this tour, when you were walking through the dormitory corridor, I was thinking how ideal this place is for a wholistic health center, with rooms that already equipped with en-suites and a garden. Then there is Gwen talking about doing a wholistic health center. Talk about a synchronicity. I have been designing an alternative medicine health spa in my head for years, for people that would rather treat their illnesses with diet (and fasting), exercise, meditation, and energy modalities rather than with chemicals and isotope radiation. I would love to share my ideas.

Poor Gwen her voice sounds so sore, it seems like her voice is loosing strength, and Anna is so genuinely loving and interested in what is happening with the convent. As one subscriber said, it is great seeing it through Gwen`s eyes. I hope Gwen gets her holistic center it would be a perfect place to have one. Thank`s Gwen and Anna for the tour.

Really enjoyed getting a full tour and being able to put the pieces together. Lovely to see more of Gwen and realize how involved she is off camera. Her sense of pride and ownership were nice to see. Anna is always a delight and I'm guessing it was special for these two mothers (who also juggle the unique challenges of chateau-ownership and DIY) to have time together.

It's so nice to see Gwen leading a tour! I spent part of a year in a retired convent as a pregnant teenager, run by the dioceses. Our rooms were very similar to these nun's rooms, enough for a bed and a dresser, a sink and a few hangers, with a communal toilette and shower room. I have great hopes for this convent to be used as something happier.

What a historical gem. When you rang the bell it really touched my heart. It would have been rung to announce the time of prayer throughout the day. Angelus and Liturgy of the hours. Were the nuns "The Sister's of Providence?" They ran hospitals. Still have Providence Hospitals in Oregon, Washington, California and Alaska USA, but unfortunately no longer run by nuns. They came to the Northwest from Canada, and before that from Europe. The Chapel would have been gorgeous when it was built. Wonder if they have original pictures before Vatican II. Was there a cemetery on the grounds? Should look for it.

Beautiful ladies with big brown eyes. My maternal side of the family immigrated from France to Quebec Canada, then down into the States. We all have deep dark brown eyes. Love Gwen (has some gorgeous gams) and Anna great spirited ladies. Thank you for the Convent tour! God Bless!
