then he went home, did some electrical work, then some plumbing, after changed the roof, sold a house, did some calls and puts on the stock market, and finally ended the day when he saved a man's life after he performed open heart surgery.

Absolutely beautiful job! I once owned a '73 240Z. Built the motor, wasn't satisfied so went to the junk yard and bought a full 280Z block for $100. Built that and it was day & night in increased power. Painted it BMW Alpine White and blacked out all the chrome. Wish I never sold her.

Awesome video Jeff! I don't know what spark plugs you're using but I may have a few tips on how to get a little more oomph out of that motor. First I'd try the NGK BPR6ES and precisely gap them all to 1.0mm and I think you'll like them. If you want to try something even more "performance plug" than that, there's an article online called Plugs and Wires Atlantic Z Car Club referring to the NGK ZFR6F-11 which are the extra-projected plugs with the "V-Power" grooves on them that will cheat some extra advance (and extra compression too by virtue of the projected tips). The ZFRs should come with a note of caution though if you have a modified (shaved) head then you have to be mindful the clearance with the top of the pistons on the upstroke. Before the ZFR existed I was running the GR5 on the track which unlike the ZFR are a bit hotter a plug than they should be. Helps with carbon fouling though for people who make too many short drives, excessive idling or stop and go driving. These Datsuns are finicky about plugs and wires and NGK are the way to go generally. Another old hot rodder's trick is to mark the open side of the plug tip on the rear end of the plug, and when you're torquing the plug on the head make sure it's pointing towards the intake valve for a pip better combustion, in theory at least. Also on keeping or selling the car, for the record Datsun Spirit here in Virginia can build these L-engines out to 120HP/L naturally aspirated which is Ferrari F12/812 level stuff, for ~$11,000 USD. I'm sure you could achieve this down under from the right shop. The shop down there that built the "Green Hornet 240Z" engine look more than capable of such a build. I see guys on racing channels here on KZbin test lapping some of the fastest cars in the world hitting fast laps in the low 1:40:00s at Laguna Seca and he's pipping high 1:38s, in traffic. In any case whether you ever built it or not, or even whether you kept it or not, it's a selling point to keep in mind if nothing else. These motors are better than most swappers ever realize. Check out "Chris 240z dyno" on KZbin to see what a guy built in his own garage with a turbo L28ET. If he can do it I wouldn't bet against you that you could do it yourself too as another option. 400HP to the wheels. Don Devendorf's L28 was laying down 700HP to show what these bulletproof engines are truly capable of. Tom Monroe's "How to Rebuild" which I think I remember you have claims they're good for 800HP in the front of the book. Really nice work man, congrats!!!

Hmm .... We the Japanese, it is most common to call it [Z], not call [Z car]. Only if want to specify the model year, we'll call by model-type such as "S30". And then, because "S30" suggests [Fairlady Z], we rarely bother to call "Z" repeatedly like "S30Z".
