That's not an abandoned factory that is a grain silo It is used to store grain That's what grain silos do in the majority of the grain elevator in the Houston area used to store rice until the United States started importing rice from Southeast Asia that put all of the rice farmers out of business pretty much in the entire United States

There used to be silos like this at the beltway 8 and I-10 interchange in west Houston by the old Union Pacific RoW.

I recently climbed up both of the silos by climbing up the side of the elevator shafts. very dangerous and risky but was worth it in my opinion

That car wash was called regency car wash in the 90s. I went there a lot with my mom until they damaged something on her car and she complained and made them fix it and they closed shortly after
