Knowing this man and woman are deceased and looking at their recliners in the living room is quite sad. I am sure so much of their time was spent just sitting there talking, discussing, planning and enjoying each others company.

I often wonder why people just up and leave, dinner and all on the table. Did they run into an emergency and never came back? Did ghosts force them out? Were they murdered? Too many questions.. does anyone have the back story on the family in this house?

Definitely something terrible must have happened to the owners of the house! It's impossible to imagine circumstances under which a family is having dinner and then, all of a sudden, springs to their feet and runs away, leaving the food on the table.....

That's amazing and sad that the last meal shared hadn't been cleared from the table, it really makes me wonder what the circumstances surrounding the departure of this family were and why so abruptly with no one to ever return? Very tragic that such lovely things were never cared for by any extended family or no children or grandchildren were had to return to retrieve any of these items or to care for this property which I'm sure was a real beauty in its time. Thank you for showing your tender, caring side with the butterfly.

I love watching these videos because it makes me so happy to see how kind they are. Always putting things back where they belong, not breaking anything, not taking things. It's wonderful to watch. Keep up the amazing videos guys. I wish there were places like this I could explore around me in California. Abandoned places where I live are hard to find. Almost always the place is trashed, nothing left behind, destroyed by other careless people.

There's one phrase "if you teach your child not to step on a caterpillar, it will benefit your child's life more than that caterpillars life" and how polite and nice you guys always are, then seeing the butterfly, makes me know it's true. I've just found your channel and have been addicted watching videos back to back haha, and this is the second butterfly I've seen you save.

Wonderfully done video. Thank you, gentlemen, for your sensitivity...and for rescuing that beautiful little butterfly. I can't help but wonder what caused the family to leave, leaving behind even the remains of their dinner. I was also fascinated by all the nice things left intact in the house, as far as furniture goes. I was struck by the flower arrangement in the living room, as well. Somehow, I doubt if that has been there for decades. I'd love to know the whole story on the place! I think it's sad that the children never came back to clean up the house, deal with the things that were left there, and sell the place to someone who would love it. Again, it makes me wonder just what happened there.

Was this in Chernobyl? That is the only reason I could think of people leaving everything. It looked as though whatever the reason was, it happened right after their meal and they left with nothing but the clothes on their back.

Great video. I really admire your kind and caring spirit. This is actually the second time I've seen you save a defenseless "insect"! It is very heart-warming to watch!!! I too, save any harmless creatures in need. I actually removed a granddaddy longleg spider from my tub the same day you saved the last insect on a previous video. Took it outside and put it on one of my plants. This home was nice to see. Just a family trying to make ends meet. Sadly, leaving us wonder why'd they just leave and not return after sharing their last meal. Why? Thanks for being so respectful and kind hearted. It's heartwarming to watch especially in a world that has so much anger and evilness. However, the kindness of others overpowers the hatred of the few. Thanks for sharing. You both rock!! I wish more people would be respectful of an abandoned house as you are. After all, you are in someone else’s home, and I see that’s how you feel too. Thank you for great video content!

It is amazing, the places you guys go. I'm an urban explorer and ghost hunter in the USA. Here every empty building gets destroyed, There is no respect. It is awesome to see that people show respect to the homes and places you guys go. Everything is so beautiful.

I am so happy to have found your channel. You both are so respectful and gentle. I love the way you communicate with the viewers about how you can imagine how the people who once lived there were eating while discussing their day and so forth. I've seen many of these kinds of videos, but I give your channel 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Thank you for saving the beautiful butterfly 💜

Thank you for showing us all these treasures of the past. I will never be able to go anywhere, but can almost feel like I am there. You have a wonderful way of explaining things. No screaming and fake scares. Very soothing, peaceful, yet nonetheless, engaging.

I love the antique woodwn carved closet in the corner....beautiful. You very tenderly describe everything everything and your softness to the poor butterfly is so touching. This video speaks an encyclopedia of the history of the previous occupants. Thank you for posting, Mervyn

Another jewel in more ways than one. The butterfly was beautifully colored. So vibrant. Thank you Lesley for trying to save it. I hope it was able to fly off eventually. It appeared to be very cold though as I could see your breath in some shots. You and Jordy are such caring young men. Don’t ever change. Keep on exploring and stay safe. SE Kansas, USA
