Thanks again Jeff and Sarah. I love seeing the old and obscure (and sometimes almost forgotten) tidbits of our history and heritage. You do an amazing job of picking the sites and bringing them to us through your videos. Always interesting and always leaving me with the desire to see what you are going to bring next. I am looking forward to the next one.

@@jbenziggy NorthEast Ohio. "Old" things in Ohio are late 1790's-1820. It wasn't "legal" to settle in the "Western Reserve" (of which Ohio is a part) until the late 1790's. Anything east of the Ohio River has the potential to be much older (Colonial). We do a lot of relic hunting and privy digging here and there is still a good bit of old standing architecture around every corner.

If people plan on exploring here please be careful! The stairs on the inside are falling apart and are dangerous to climb. (The cellar/basement stairs are the worst). The last time I went here was probably the last time I ever plan on going. It was 2am and I was with two friends. We were getting ready to go inside and heard this loud, piercing screech/scream that sounded like no animal I’ve every heard. It scared the absolutely life out of us.

@@jbenziggy Somewhere on the Internet or You Tube is a video of a paranormal ghost investigation. It wasn't that long ago and they go through the entire house and basement so you get a good idea of what the place looked like from the inside. I hope it is restored someday also but time keeps going by and it just continues to sit there and deteriorate.

My Dad used to party there in the 70’s with his friends. They’d sneak in and hang out- he told us some pretty spooky stuff. He’d take me & my siblings there to creep us out. Before the barn was turned into a wedding venue- it must have been used to slaughter livestock. In the early 90’s there were hanging meat hooks and dried blood on the walls. Used to scare tf out of me.

If you look at that one oldest picture of the Bailey house you can tell that it has been re-facotted with a new layer of brick and if you look out back you'll see the original wall on the corner of the building where it was facade with newer brick it doesn't fit the narrative at all it just goes to show that that house is way way older than they're saying why would they end up re-facing that house if it was and then they re-brick the outside there's nothing about it to say it's a Folly it's it's not a Folly that's one of the key buzzwords that they use to get you to not think it's important all lies I've been to the place I went there recently and I saw that back wall
