In America a lot of our abandoned mcmansion developments are being finished right now. Some neighborhoods are still half finished though but they aren’t just skins of houses like this neighborhood. It’s usually a low cost lower quality builder pops up cheaper houses in the nicer mcmansion neighborhoods in America

It’s good to see anything being done with these construction sites, and it’s a good thing that somebody found a way to get them finished in some way after years of sitting dormant and rotting away. The scale of the effects of the crisis on the immovables sector was, and still is unprecedented. No such hopes for places like the ones you see in this video - they are often fought in an endless legal debacle between all the parties involved. So much for getting rid of sad eyesores that remind everyone of an era not so long gone.

I was really surprised when I saw many developments just like this across wealthy parts of Spain. Here in Ireland, most of the abandoned developments are just rows of boarded up homes, most of which end up being vandalized.

Some abandoned proyects are now being finished.

HuSerr, you are absolutely right. An example of that can be seen in my newest video about the new T10 Metro Line in Valencia, which will partially launch in 2021 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZWweWR9p9V2j8U. Nonetheless with housing projects the situation in many places is much more complicated. After the crisis many construction companies went into receivership and other bankruptcy proceedings, thus rendering the legal status of many such investments extremely complicated. It will take years, if ever, that we'll see them being completed.
