Abandoned in 77! 1969 Envoy Epic Barn Find

When I was given the chance to buy a strange car I had never heard of, that had been in a barn for over 4 decades... how could I say no! Of course now I've gotta try fix it... not an easy task when the brand left Canada in 1970. This is how I got my hands on a Canadian only market HB Vauxhall Viva.

The Vauxhall Viva HB was rebadged as the Holden HB Torana in Australia. Holden was a subsidiary of General Motors and I think they were the most popular car maker here at the time. The HB Torana wasn't too popular but with later model developments it diverged a lot from the original Viva and had 6cyls as standard and later on even had 8 cyl variants and had success in touring car racing. If you find the Holden Torana wiki page you'll get the whole story and might even drool a little.

I don't think I have ever seen a Holden I didn't like. Wish we had gotten them over here.
