On your approach to the mansion, my first thought was how eerie it looked, then I thought how little was left standing of such a large mansion. . Thanks for sharing this beauty 😊

Welcome! I too thought it looked creepy until we got closer. Before the fire it must have had a real presence.

Very nice work. Not much left to see but there were some tidbits.

Truly is a 'ruin'.

That palce was huge but such a mess now. Hard to recognise it as the same house you showed in the old photos.

A true ruin in every sense lol.

Did all this ruin happen naturally or was some demolition done? Thank you for relating the history!

I have a feeling it wasa. fire after years of neglect. No records of one, though.

A fire and a bit of flattening by a shovel i guess, looking at how the place looks, nice history tho.

Thanks! It has to be one of the most ruinous places I have seen yet.

A glowing ghost skeleton? Sounds like it was a proper Scooby Doo haunted house! So the last pristine state was when it was rebuilt around 1913? A hundred years and it's in worse shape then I could have imagined

Lol yes. Not too frightening, really. I was surprised as well by how gone it is.

What a desolate landscape…no trees .I suppose all burned in the fire places, Like the Moon…

It really is an empty place. Makes you wonder how all the giant cats and dogs of legend would ever hide within moors like this.

Talk about remote. This location was not thought out well.

It truly is. Nothing in any direction for many miles!

Roses. Tied to the Rosicrucian’s? The Order of the Rose maybe? Of these I know very, very little. Do you know much about that Society/ beliefs? The architecture looks very simple from the photos in the open plains.
@DesertifyUrbex Жыл бұрын
I do not, sadly. It also might be related to county symbols of the north. I will have to look into that!
