I believe the song delves into themes of self-reflection, acceptance, and the struggle against societal pressures. The narrator seems to be grappling with past regrets and the notion of what could have been, ultimately realizing the futility in dwelling on such thoughts. They find solace in the present moment, acknowledging the presence of a significant other and the comfort it brings. The repeated refrain, "Hype is the enemy of everything that's beautiful," suggests a disdain for the superficiality and exaggerated expectations often associated with societal trends and popular culture. The narrator sees hype as a distraction that detracts from genuine beauty and meaningful experiences. It serves as a cautionary reminder to avoid getting caught up in illusions and false promises. The imagery of "illuminate the broken-hearted" hints at finding enlightenment or solace amidst emotional turmoil and challenges. Despite the struggles, there is a sense of resilience and determination to push forward, as expressed through the lines urging to be "a little bit bolder" and to "move forward see what life will bring." The metaphor of twisting and turning a puzzle reflects the narrator's attempt to make sense of their experiences and relationships. Despite the uncertainties and complexities, they consistently find a sense of connection and familiarity, symbolized by the presence of a loved one. Overall, the song offers a contemplative exploration of navigating life's uncertainties, finding beauty in simplicity, and resisting the allure of superficiality and societal pressures. It encourages embracing authenticity and living in the moment while acknowledging the complexities of human emotions and relationships.

@@LJXrot Well in this song there's only two that I know about, both reference two other songs in the album, first is In Shadows and the second one is In Silence. The other songs usually also reference the lyrics from the other songs or straight up the title itself. Honestly it feels like a very well tied-up album, almost makes me think it's a conceptual album.
