Abandoned Project. Now AMAZING Beachside Accommodation!

From Sunny Beach in Bulgaria on the Black Sea we drive just a few miles to a previously abandoned development in Alehoy. All along the coast , in Sunny Beach and other places, projects half built and left are coming to life again. Increased prices and demand have driven this surge in development, there are cranes all over the skyline of Sunny Beach, the biggest resort on the Black Sea..
We live near Sunny Beach and cover the coast all year around including the main summer beach holiday experience.

I remember when Aheloy was just a small village you went through en route from the airport long before the new by pass was done. It was so cheap to eat there we would get the bus and just go visit friends there x

It's grown a bit, we looked at apartments here 9 years ago but more restaurants and places open now.

Most villages inland don't make great videos. Just been to Ruse, did get the camera out but that was for bits to insert in my videos rather than a travel film as such. Glad you liked this one, something different.

Prices continue to rise here. The demand is huge now with few good apartments for sale. This is a very quiet place.

That's a big complex and may be it was the biggest abendon near sunny beach, but the biggest is the so called Crocodile in Tzarevo. Greetings to Sunny Beach and I will bring some warmer temps and sunshine tomorrow. Sune

Increasing in popularity fir sure .. Welcoming for brits .. Spain seems to have massive objections to the brits as of late so the market should be there . Plus prices reasonable .. Brits are a minority tourist here in Bulgaria, they therefore don't pander to them with pints of bitter and Sunday roasts. However, for those willing to try something a bit different it's really nice. Wouldn't ever say swap Benidorm for this.

We are poor pensioners 😃😃😃. Thank you, I had a new top end pc built for me in Burgas and I can a lot more now. Just had a new sound system last week in my studio and this was the first edited with it and I can improve that too now

Prices are huge , Susan thinks they are Sol Mer , I forgot the name to be honest. Yes prices are eye watering, couldn't believe those small houses. They are on a couple of sites but I didn't notice the name, artist impressions don't draw my attention much.

The currency is leva. Property is however normally priced in euro, especially in the cities or tourist areas.
