Abandoned Science Centre (Alarm Triggered)

Exploring an abandoned Science Centre, we had to move with caution on this one as it was alarmed, we done well up until the end when one of us triggered a pir sensor which set off the alarm

Exploring with Alec you walked past a sensor coming in through the glass!! 😂😂 it was only a matter of time also there is alarm pressure pads under the carpets ! Just so you know ! We found blueprints in here in 2017 of all the alarm lay out and wiring

Really should I have been searching and I found out it was built in 1999 closed in 2003 and there is a time capsule inside and the exact coordinates are 55°36'31"N 4°41'38"W · 28.5 ft

The reason it's sat empty is because to do anything with it would cost money. Turning stuff into other stuff isn't free

@@B1ngus_lord Yup I grew up in Irvine - the town this is in - and it is built on the site of Alfred Nobel's old Dynamite factory where my papa used to work when he was younger. it has sat doing nothing since 2003 and is unreachable unless you are to walk down the beach from Stevenston. the bridge that originally connected it is closed off and is only used by the young team to jump off into the river.

We went just after it opened and was a crazy price to get in, think somewhere in the region of £15 per adult so we just did an about turn.

That Very high pitched siren is a Masterblaster. A 172db Motorised Siren that if set off at close distance can cause ear damage. Your lucky you weren't close to it lol

It felt as if my ear drums had blown that thing was loud lol, but glad to have finished the explore before setting it off and it was fun running away from it too lol

127db Klaxon Masterblaster motorised siren! At least I think so. It does sound a bit underpowered and lower pitch for a MasterBlaster so it could be a different motorised siren.

Suggestion for security - don't have any alarm noise in the building, just have one that goes off in your office. Then pop in and catch them cold !

I'd imagine it was the loud sound at 26:08 that caused the alarm because the alarm went off exactly 25 seconds afterwards, which is quite a nice number to be completely random

Sketchy the alarm was already set off you can hear the beeping and like the other guy said the owner has to press a button saying everything’s ok and if the owner does not press the button the. That means that the alarm will sound

For a building that’s been abandoned for 16 years it’s not in that bad condition. Most abandoned building would be totally trashed and vandalised long before that

Exploring with Alec Our attempt in 2017 was a bit easier then this.. no fencing no security van there. In through a vent hole at the back where the ventilation plant is. In the video they have blocked the hole inside by putting something against it.

That constant beeping earlier in the video and at the nearly end of the video and think that beeping from the keypad is basically meaning its armed i think and when you guys made that loud sound in the video probobly the sound detectors finally knew you guys were in the building so it took a moment and then bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepp

Honestly, the biggest waste of money I've ever seen in Scotland. I remember paying stupid money to get in and what you got was waaaaay overpriced. Think I spent £4 on a rubber, that was in 2002 as well. 18 years later, it looks exactly the same 🙄.

I think I may know how to turn it off. Go to the panel find the keys disconnect the power where the panel is and pull the backup battery. Thats usally how I do it if I dont know the codes to the security system, It looks pretty newly installed the alarm system.

Jaces Media Group if there was a bell box, it likely to have a backup battery as well and you would need the code as alarm panels nowadays don’t have keyswitches!

As soon as you open the alarm panel it will immediately go off, as there will be a tamper switch With most alarm systems, even if it is disarmed, you can’t open up the panel or sensors without it going off (you have to enter a special code before the system will let you do that without going off, and in most cases, the building owner does not know what this code is, only the alarm company does)

You don't have to get across the bridge in the video. Approach from the opposite direction along Stevenston beach. It's a bit of a walk, but at various points there are gaps in the fence which is supposed to prevent access on to the Ardeer Peninsula. If you zoom in on Google maps, you will see what I mean. It can also be approached from Irvine golf course across bridges over the River Garnock. These bridges are complete, but they do have concrete obstructions at each end which indicates that people are discouraged from accessing this area.

Not an exercise of the Law issuing summonse to appear in Court and have a Representitive but via Drug dealers who were told by their captain to GET THEM OFF.
