ABANDONED spooky gothic castle - abandoned places uk

we return to this big grade 2 listed castle by the lakeside to see what has changed since our last visit but get a strange surprise later on.
this castle looking stately home was built in around 1811-1830 and has had many uses in its time including a youth hostel and a golf course. the last owner to once live here owned it since around 1970 and lived there up until his death in 2015 when some burglars broke into his home one night and tied him up to an antique chair and beat him up whilst stealing priceless antiques from his vast collection in his hall. the hall has been stood vacant since that night and is falling to bad disrepair.
does the old owner still haunt this big property since that fateful night or is there someone else from the halls past. who knows.

Interesting historical place shame its been left to rot away but at the end I heard that voice say get out first time round so definitely some spooky goings on around the place.

I love the music and that drone footage was amazing. What a place! Seems creepy as it is but definitely heard some cantankerous bloke saying get out as you were leaving. Very strange and glad you caught the voice. That room with the old bed in is so good, I can’t believe anyone would want to destroy it, idiots. Definitely worth a revisit if you are able to. Thanks for a great video.

I was living in Horton just the other side of the lake about ten years ago when the robbery happened, Brian was a frail old man with heart problems and no threat to seven young men lying in wait for him but they beat him half to death regardless for the hell of it, spent the night ransacking the place and left him with nothing and no income.

would have been such a grand home to live in some lovely ceilings so sad to see that the vandals have been in with their small brains smashing the lovely stain glass windows such a grand entrance into the house what a waste of what could be a beautiful house liying to rot away. just love your banter about the property but you are right about covering up the ceilings with plasterboard makes the house look fake covers the grandness the corrugated metal sheets makes the roof look stupid and out of place but all in all good explore

Great video guys and history I've been in here twice shame what happened I'm surprised you git in tbh as all boarded up I'm wandering if that old cooker is still there in the kitchen last time I was there a man and her son left as I was alone i herd a couple of stones on the stairs and the 4 poster bec I amazing I still got the pics I flew my drone over there a phew months ago and lost some of my footage inside But got a little video saved apparently I'm Shaw it said on Google it's going be done up love all your vids you pair as im 7 Miles from that place 🤗🤗👍👍👌 if they don't try save it it will fall down eventually
