Locations like this don't last long in the Hollywood Hills. There may be legal/tax/probate issues blocking the transfer of title to new owners or serious structural issues that make it a tear down or an owner asking an unrealistically high price for what is a major fixer upper that needs to be pretty much be gutted and up dated which will easily add one million+ to the purchase price depending how extensive the renovation and choice of finishes.

@@Urbex_Offlimits Thanks to Prop 13 that was enacted in 1978, I believe annual tax increases after the initial purchase are limited to 1% of the purchase price. But the City of L.A. found another way to get around Prop 13 and get their extra pinch by enacting a one time "mansion tax" of 4% on all home sales of $5 million and up.

I just don't get the logic of building these beautiful homes and then walk away like ehh no big deal when most families struggle to buy a simple 3 bd 2 bath house these days
