We visited this outside art collection in 2021.. We've been to many places, however, this was our funnest trip.

Haha, guess what I just saw? The first picture, oh my goodness, it was absolutely peculiar! I mean, the decorations were just, well, let's say they were quite unique! 😅

I visited this recently. It was pretty fun to walk around and explore, although I’m convinced it’s just a hoarders mess they decided to call “art” so that the city wouldn’t bother them. It’s literally just heaps of organized trash lining the entire block.

Better that being called art than a Tampon-In-A-Cup or a 🍌 Duct-Taped to a wall.

The reason for the art was to draw visitors to the area because it was being overrun by dealers, drug addicts and prostitutes. The people in the neighborhood started doing this as a deterrent I was there in 2012 and the people outside their homes were very friendly. They just wanted their neighborhood back and safe.

warst du schon mal in Detroit? Also direkt, oder auch in den Vororten?

We visited the Heidelberg Project in 2011. I thought the concept was cool, but the installation itself had not been maintained. The stuffed animals were dingy and sagging from being out in the elements for 2 years. The spotted house looked cool, but the rest looked like an organized junkyard. Is it meant to be a commentary on consumerism?

You should do downtown Kannapolis NC from the early 2000s until today. Being a native of the small mill village I can personally say it looks absolutely nothing like the town I grew up in.
