abandoned these tractors in the woods a few years ago, which one should I fix and will they start?

So in a few weeks there's a local tractor run that I would quite like to go on, I was looking on eBay for a tractor to buy, then I remembered that I have two rather broken tractors sat in the wood slowly rotting away, wouldn't it be better to get one of those back up and running instead? Now I will only have a an afternoon to focus on this realistically, so need to be sensible in which one I take on. So in this video I will have a look at the pair of them and see if I can realistically get one of them going in time for the event!

The yellow Massey is the better tractor but it'll take more doing to get it working. Very much a long term project, I'd say. The Brown is an absolute shed but it should be easier to get vaguely working.

I'd say the advantage is for the Brown as a quick "fun" project (if you find the parts you need). The Massey sounds like it would be a more long term project, but very useful in the end.

All David brown axles are like that there’s no such thing as good ones 😂 I’ve fixed two axles always been the centre pin got someone to line bore through, oversized bushes made and a new pin lathed up seen some steep prices for DB axles that are ‘good’
