Abandoned Yamaha XJ 900F - Will It Start?

A surprisingly good find, this Yamaha XJ 900 F has seen better days.
I am so glad I managed to save this bike. It was destined to the scrap.
Perhaps a new life can be restored to this machine.
The bike itself is still in good shape, despite being abandoned by the previous owner. The inside of the fuel tank is clean and the engine does not leak oil, which is a good sign.
The fact that it fired up on the button is incredible, it just wanted to start instantly.
Thanks for watching, I do hope to get back to this bike. I am happy enough that it runs, but I want to get it firing on all 4.
Need to fit an exhaust properly too, but the exhaust brackets and mounting screws look really buggered. I could potentially rethread them or even helicoil it, but anything that takes too much time and effort isn't really worth the bother.

Ah well. At least getting on the mainstand will give shoulders like Jonah Lomu. Cheaper than a gym!

XJ-900? Don't remember those in the states!

Yes this is technically the bike before the XJR. Must just be a European model then. It is not quite a Diversion but very similar
