Thanks very much, Sir. I have a question about the unit in this simulation. If SI (mm) is used in Abaqus, the units for conductivity and specific heat should be (mW/mm/C) and (mJ/Ton/C). So I am wondering why are you using (W/mm/C) and (J/Ton/C) in your video? Would there be any difference if using different units?
@akshittyagi52672 жыл бұрын
He wrote units wrongly but value is correct for conductivity. Though specific heat value is wrong that needs to be 1000 times the present value.

Thermal conductivity of aluminium is 210 W/m-K or 1460 BTU-in/hr-ft²-°F so i am not able to understand how to convert it in.... W/mm-c so that it will come 0.15 W/mm-c????? I need the thermal conductivity of H13 tool steel, literature says its 24.3 W/m-K What should i use for the model

Hello brother can you do a video on Thermal stress analysis of a riveted lap joint by using coupled temperature displacement module. I am currently having contact problems when I try to find the thermal stress due to cooling of rivet by using coupled temperature displacement. In my message file I get these problems 1)THE ESTIMATED CONTACT FORCE ERROR IS OUTSIDE OF CONVERGENCE TOLERANCES. 2) DISP. CORRECTION TOO LARGE COMPARED TO DISP. INCREMENT 3) MAX. PENETRATION ERROR 75.1979E-12 AT NODE LEFT STRIP-1.838 OF CONTACT PAIR (ASSEMBLY_LEFT STRIP-1_LEFT STRIP HOLE SURFACE,ASSEMBLY_RIVET-1_RIVET MIDDLE SURFACE) MAX. CONTACT FORCE ERROR 1.44901E-03 AT NODE LEFT STRIP-1.21281 OF CONTACT PAIR (ASSEMBLY_LEFT STRIP-1_LEFT STRIP HOLE SURFACE,ASSEMBLY_RIVET-1_RIVET MIDDLE SURFACE) Please make a tutorial on this brother, I will be grateful to you.

Hi Sir, First of all i would like to thank you for this video. i have a question that to move the friction pad along the full length what changes should i make ?
@ireview96584 жыл бұрын
Friction pad is a fixed attachment moving in vertical direction only, it doesn't move other ways👍 Only the object/wheel moves 👍
@akshittyagi52672 жыл бұрын
I got only one way, that is by reducing the pressure applied on the pad. But it is not fair. Do you have any other way out. Please tell if you know.
