Abarth Grande Punto S2000 Rally Car: Starts, Accelerations & Lovely 8,500rpm N/A Intake Sound!

Super 2000 (S2000) class was obviously considered for the first edition Mythical Cars Rally, an experimental rally held in Italy which wants to celebrate the most iconic cars of the World Rally Championship from 1995 to 2021. One of the main contenders of the original S2000 class in rallying was the Fiat Grande Punto S2000, introduced in 2006.
As per ruleset the car is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine completely developed "in house" linked to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. It develops a maximum power of about 270-280hp at 8,250 rpm with a mandatory 64mm air intake restrictor, unleashed to the ground on all four wheels. The engine can rev to 8,500 rpm maximum due to class rules.
After its first two season the car was renamed as Abarth Grande Punto S2000 from 2008, following the introduction on the market of the road legal Abarth Grande Punto with which the rally cars only shares the chassis.

The driver and co-driver sit quite far back in the car, likely for better weight distribution so the mirrors have to be moved closer to them
