Ah! I know! To be honest because the car was so quick off the line anyway I thought launch control was just going to be a gimmick but my my was I wrong! It is crazy! Hey Adam, looks like you had fun! Those sessions are so nice to understand the car better. I did a similar thing a few months ago, with a half-day Accelerate AMG event here in Australia. We did the different scenarios (braking, skid pan, stability) as well as testing a multitude of new cars on track and the best part was hot lapping driving C63S. I had so much fun! The track was also amazing (official competition track) I reckon the one here is very very short and narrow, but hey hope that will make you wanting to book regular track days!

Hey Erwan, It was so fun and like you say a really good way to understand the car better. The Accelerate AMG event sounds great. Nice to hear you have something similar in Australia. I'm going to go back to Mercedes-World hopefully and do a half day with more cars. We also have the Silverstone formula 1 race circuit not to far from me so I am going to try and make use of that too! Would love to take the car out on a proper big circuit!

If you buy a new car you have a free 1 and a half hour session in your car model but you use their cars and their tyres and brakes :) This was mine from buying my CLA45s last year. You can also pay to do experiences in all types of AMG’s. It’s a great place.

I have just turned 50 and losing a few friends from school to Cancer and Heart Attacks who i have grown up with made me think about life and how short it can be for some people...Im having a few health issues myself...Worked all my life sat on a few quid and i thought am 50 why not spend some money a think you call it a midlife crisis anyways was looking at BMW and Audi then looking on KZbin your collection video of the CLA 45 came up and i was blown away...Hands down Mercedes Benz make the best interiors on a car 100% your car inside is like stepping onto the USS ENTERPRISE bridge its amazing and that colour Matt Grey looks stunning...Anyways im going to order one from Stockport Mercedes Benz and i will mention your KZbin chanmel AbAuto...I would like you to video my Handover of the car from the dealership when it arrives and also im going to have the car detailed and then PPF and then the PPF Ceramic Coated and also im looking for a set of new wheels so if you are up for that you could put all this on your KZbin Channel

I contacted my local Mercedes Benz dealership in Wakefield and they have a CLA 45 in Matt Grey for delivery beginning of next year but the reviews online for this dealership are not very good regarding everything from sales to aftercare thats why i asked you about where you purchased your CLA as you have nothing but praise for the Stockport Dealership when you are spending £60k+ on a car you want good aftersale care...I have built a car on CarWow thats where i have configured all my brand new cars as i have always saved myself a few ££££ than just walking into the dealership but when i have a few offers i will phone Stockport Mercedes and see if they can match the offers from other dealerships on CarWow and i will also mention your KZbin Channel Adam...I will keep you posted my friend...

Adam! Good to see your channel growling since I last commented. My cla45s is arriving soon! I see alot of fun on launch control but I'm also told that it damages the car... Could you help me understand if this is true? Looking forward to your reply!

Hey, Thank you! That’s exciting to hear your car is due to arrive soon! In regards to the launch control I have been researching a lot into how the launch control works on this car and I can safely say that it won’t damage the car. This is either a thing of the past with older cars or a myth. The car comes with a great AMG supplement manual that explains all the AMG functions in detail. It’s very clear on warnings for everything but there’s no warnings on launch control. The car prevents this from damage in a few ways. 1. It won’t let you do it till the engine has been ran in and you’ve done over 1k miles. 2. It won’t activate unless the temperatures are all high enough and the cars warmed up. 3. It won’t work on a non level surface. So overall from what I have researched it’s very safe to do :)

After this day it must be very hard to drive "normal" on your way home🤣😊. My vehicle is 21 years old, but when a new one is bought, I'll definitely do driver safety training to learn what the vehicle can and can't do.

Aha! Yep it was tricky to go back to the speed limits. Honestly made me love my car so much more after driving it on the track. It was so fun and I’d love to do more! If your not too far away you can do driving experiences at Mercedes-Benz world and drive all the AMG’s. Well worth the trip and the cost!

I work in the neighborhood where they build the G Class and I so in love with this car. It cost 1800 Euro but I realy want do this. Mybe the only changes to drive a G Class for a half day.

Hey, I recommend contacting Mercedes-Benz of Stockport If your looking to order a CLA45. The dealership is huge, they have a whole floor just for AMG’s and the car collection process is great. Mention me when you contact them and you may get a better deal :)

I have just heard that Mercedes Benz are advising all new order customers (in the UK at least) that CLA sales are suspended until further notice. Customers are receiving emails now that advise due to the supply chain issues and huge backlog of builds at the factory, their orders are now cancelled. Be aware as Dealerships are still taking orders, but MB are cancelling them as we speak.

I just recently got a CLA45 loaner, and knowing that you had a C43 prior to this AMG, I feel like you should have stayed with the C43. The CLA is too small. Considering you have a kid and sometimes would need to drive her around, you would want a little more room. But also, the C43 has so much more character. The stance, sound, looks, feel all are better to me than the CLA45 S
