@@bmwmotorrad If you built something almost as radical as this.... but in more in a 'sports' position than in a 'drag' position, I'd buy it..... so that it would somehow be able to negotiate corners.... I'm sorry... the R18 will never appeal to the cruiser crowd, but where the sports and drag crowd intersect... perhaps there is an untapped market.... all the best and keep up the great work

@Los Vagabundos > multiply by .15 for 15% driveline loss (I think that’s how much the bmw driveshaft bikes sap power) I don't believe there's any significant loss from U-joints. 15% is rule of thumb loss for transmission and final drive gears.

Hello donnie baker, thank you for your interest in the R 18 Dragster. However, the R 18 Dragster is a custom bike and will therefore not be available to purchase nor will be a production kit. Furthermore, as only test rides were made, no times were taken. 🙂
