ABBAtalk I got to tell Frida’s grandson Johnathan who lived in my area in western New York how much his grandmothers music meant to me. He told me that the love he gets all the time for being the grandson is overwhelming. They say Abba never really “made it” in America but it is a falsehood! He says that the fans of Abba are everywhere and they are strong

ABBAtalk your music is amazing and it means the world to me. We want ABBA! We want ABBA! We want ABBA!!! Man!!! Also Agnetha and Frida carry themselves beautifully and have amazing voices. Also love the backing guitar and piano in the songs. I love how ABBA is very much it’s own thing and have songs that range everything from sadness to caring about others and even just fun dancing songs such as their only US #1 hit: Dancing Queen. Also thoroughly enjoy the stage musical Mamma Mia! As well as the movie musical extravaganzas Mamma Mia! And Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again! Can’t wait for the new songs and VR tour and VR biopic!!! So ready for ABBA to be back!!!

Hi Björn, in my youth my room was full of Abba Posters, now I'm 55 and still your music means more to me as you might imagine. When ABBA broke up, you broke my heart till now. Never understood why you didn't reunite. With Super Trooper and Visitors I thought it was only a turning point to even much more greatness then before. But anyway you gave and still give me so so much. Thank you for the music. In June 2020 I will be in Stockholm and visit the Abba-Museum. Love to you all.💞💖💞💖

Growing up, going through some hard times, I used to listen to Abba starting with some sader songs and then little by little to happier songs always ending up with Move On, I can say 100% that your music saved my life. I don`t care if it`s a cliche or not. That`s just the way it is. That`s the power of music. Thank you.

Yes, perhaps they were and are, but I rather would say the engine. The ladies were definitely the face and the voice of ABBA. They were the visual ingredient, say ABBA to someone and they associate it with the singers (the blond and the redhead). All in all - the four of them were a perfect combo, a once in a lifetime achievement. Four very talented people (and all with brains) - giving us music lasting decade after decade. So I salute them all and wait for those new tracks to hit the airwaves.

@@kyleday5026 👍😃Agreed!! They were criticised for being just "bubblegum pop" by some, at the time. But, they proved those critics wrong, because their music has withstood the test of time, and endures to this day. Their appeal spans all generations and borders. No matter how many bad reviews they got from newspapers and magazines, because I remember reading them, they just kept topping the charts worldwide and selling millions and millions of singles and albums. I remember reading a review from the UK, when they released "Super Trouper" in 1980, and they renamed it "Super Stupor" in the article. But it was a #1 album in the UK, and the single "Super Trouper" also hit #1 there.

Bjorn and Benny wrote all ABBA's music, but at least 10 of ABBA's biggest songs had their lyrics written or co-written by their manager, Stig Andersson, who died in 1997. They include: "Ring Ring" (1973), "Waterloo" (1974), "Honey, Honey" (1974), "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" (1975), "Mamma Mia" (1975), "S.O.S" (1975), "Fernando" (1976), "Dancing Queen" (1976), "Knowing Me, Knowing You" (1977), and "The Name of the Game" (1977).

Abbas music is the classical music of the future. People will still be enjoying it in 100years time. Benny, Bjorn, Anni-frid and Anetha are wonderful song writers and musicians, that they came together as the did is a miracle. They couldn’t write or perform a bad song ever. Benny and Bjorn have written wonderful lyrics and melodies for musicals that will last forever. Benny with his Orchestra, and Benny just playing the piano music he has written sublime doesn’t even start to describe the beautiful sound. My three year old grandson has listened to twinkle twinkle little star ( the complete version ) since he was 6 months old. He is a fan now at 3 years old and can identify an ABBA when it’s played on the radio. What a rich and wonderful legacy for future generations.

Abba one of the few artists I can remember in the seventies where old and young people would like them and sing along to their songs. This rarely happens. What young people are listening to the older generation doesn't listen to or like.
