Agnetha doesn't sound much different to when she sang 40 years ago. Forty years... imagine leaving that much time between albums. It's a very definitely Abba song with a definite Abba trademark sound. The singing isn't forced or strained. The voices sing effortlessly, capturing the delightful sound as if nary a year had passed. The orchestration is delightful too, especially the strings. It sounds upbeat, but of course it has a dark side. Did he let her in, or did he leave her standing in the hall? Well done Hap3Speakz. You are doing well in your appreciation of Abba. Easy to dismiss, but hard to forget once you understand them (as you now do.).

This is probably the most classic ABBA track off Voyage and as soon as the chorus kicks in you know it’s them from just that classic ABBA sound.

Wow, I agree with you, the whole concept of the reunion and the fact that they became virtual with modern technology is genius. ABBA, they sound the the same, but with the new and improved attitude makes this new musical creation all the more special and ABBA timeless!! Just loved your enthusiastic reaction Hap to this incredible song! 💜🎵💜🎵

Thanks for the ABBA. For whatever reason when these 4 get together the magic happens. I also love that while most people were in Covid lockdown mode they took to the studio to create another masterpiece. Like I've said before there must be something magical in that Swedish water.

The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came") and the edition of his new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack") and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors") Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations Their return is shocking and his quality is still valid "Don't shut me down" it's another surprise from ABBA A pop song was expected, but there were reservations and fears for what it could be (and here I include doubts to the voices of the girls due to their age) And we find a magnificent work The beginning is with Agnetha's voice attacking with the pleasant company of the piano. What Agnetha does in that introduction is anthology, exquisite modulating and using different nuances with her mature voice. Until Benny's signature piano glint (nod to the mega hit "Dancing Queen") and ABBA's typical pop song is with us, with the fans, because the lyrics speak to us. and Agnetha assumes that decoding of almost four decades and gives us her beautiful voice as the strings grow and lead to a memorable chorus with Frida reliving the historic third voice of ABBA But it doesn't end there, the second part adds hooks and a xylophone is added to the bells (a nod to the marimba in "Mamma Mía"), and the pre-chorus has more force with Agnetha and Frida and the violins anticipate the elevation to a chorus triumphant final anthology reminiscent of his greatest hits And it ends with a soft and sweet Agnetha voice and piano melody (nod to "Thank you for the music") Thank for your great reaction and for Your respect to ABBA music now we have the new album "Voyage" after almost 40 years that is a worldwide succes now in 2021/22 see in next ABBA vídeo GOD bless You

separate comment It gave me great joy to see you again with the new songs of ABBA I remember that exactly one year ago you started with the live performances of the London concert 1979 But a long time ago you did the reaction to "Thank you for the music", and before "Chiquitita", and both were wonderful And since you came in chronological order, the last three albums were waiting for you, and fantastic songs like: Gimme gimme gimme The winner takes it all Super trouper (and hopefully you'll take them back, you're going to enjoy them) The good thing is that you are back with the unexpected historical and emotional return of ABBA (with new album included) ABBA initially made two songs in 2017/18 for their ABBAtares show, but as the implementation of the technology was delayed and then the Covid pandemic hit, in that time ABBA wrote a couple of songs in 2019/20 and finally with more songs recorded in 2021 completed a whole album Voyage that was released in November 2021 (just to My birthday) Imagine the excitement of all the fans that unforgettable September 2 following the worldwide broadcast on KZbin There were simultaneous meetings in Stockholm, London, Berlin, Vienna, Iceland, New York, São Paulo, Tokyo, Australia. Until we saw and heard the video for "I still have faith in you", then Björn & Benny announces the new album (the biggest surprise) and ends with this masterpiece that is "Don't shut me down" I am 64 years old and I have been a fan of The Beatles since I was a teenager. and I was able to see Paul McCartney on his last visit to my country Argentina, just before the pandemic but what ABBA did is unprecedented, historical and magnificent definitely ABBA is already on the Podium of the Greatest Groups in all music history (and the podium is only for three)

This was a lyrical video - some fan edit I belive combined the little bit of behind the scenes footage we have of the album and concert projects with the lyrical video. I think the song since it was specifically composed for this Abbatar project also implies Abba has been decoded and the new old has been combined for the new concerts and for fans to have an open mind (also to them recording again for the first time in 40 years. Please also listen to Just a Notion - a 1978 track that was previously only released as a snippet - it has new musical backing but the old vocals. I love it. It is used in the new album. Then I Still Have Faith in You has a proper emotional video created for it - it was the first one shown to fans around the world when Bjorn and Benny announced live about not only the concerts but a whole new album. We expected 2 or 3 songs but not a whole album!

Also want to say I really enjoy your contemplative and heartfelt reactions. Other reaction videos focus on very demonstrative reactions - but yours are so subdued, subtle, but meaningful - so I really appreciate it. I can see you taking everything in and not feeling obligated to overdo opening your eyes wide or have your jaw drop - i enjoy that sometimes - but I like yours as a different style of reaction. Thanks.

This is ABBA💯👍 After the very calm and soothing intro, I wasn't expecting this up-tempo beat for the rest of the song either🎶. I like it👍. And you can really tell that’s them😃. There are some segments where I thought, uh, that reminded me of this song or this part of another. In the end it was different, new, but just a wonderful composition. And these lyrics🤩. It's really crazy with your mystical intuitions when it comes to music and this channel😱😜. Thanks HAP It's always fun to listen to you 🥰🙋🏻♀️.

ps. I love it when ladies on 70+ sing "I'm hot, I'm fired up" . Bjorn is not only feminist, he also allows Elderly women to have a sexual agenda? He's the best ⭐️
@dinodasbunce62242 жыл бұрын
The original video is a lyric video, this is a hybrid. On this surface this song is about a woman who left her family and after some time is asking for her family to accept her back. The larger meaning of the song is that it is a plea to all of us, their fans, to except them back into our lives and hearts. That they are sorry the left us forty years ago and that they hope we can now accept them as they are now. This isn't just my take on things, this is according to Bjorn, paraphrased of course. The sexual context is, I think, just a result of your youth and the fact that that is about all guys your age think about. :-)

abba has a sound that only they have and in the 70s there were several bands that had their own sound queen also had something like that these bands were recognizable, today i miss that in music everyone makes the same music madonna also has something about it you can tell, the radio moderators used to play something that no one knew and it went off, today everything goes according to plan.
