Agnetha was a star already before abba times. Without these 2 ladies, with incredible voices, there wouldn't be abba. Simply, because their role is so big. And together these ladies are out of this world. Their combination is perfection.

ABBAMAN... When the two girls sing together they call that the third voice. This is one of the most beautiful ballads that Bjorn and Benny ever wrote and a major highlight from the arrival album. It's a shame it wasn't a single but it should have been say back in the seventies most albums only released like two songs as singles. I really compare Abba to The Beatles because they were called the swedish Beatles at one time. Back in the 60s it was the same thing one or two singles from an album Play album had such great songs much like Abba that never got played unless you bought the album. So from here on out you will find tons of hat hidden gems now that ABBA has found their signature sound. Just incredible music 🎵🎶 nobody is like Abba and nobody ever will be.ABBA forever!!!!❤😊

This is an absolutely fantastic song. Agnetha's angelic voice is enhanced by Frida's extraordinary harmonies, and the boys help, too. I also love their background harmonies, which are generally rarely mentioned. No wonder you're surprised because the albums you've heard so far (except Voyage) present Abba on this one on a whole new level. Get ready for numerous of eargasmic and surprises 🥰💯 This song is from the TV special "Abba in the Studio 2" from 1976 when Abba visited Poland (Warsaw). The program was also broadcast in other socialist countries at the time, which was Stig's intention. He wanted Abba to be known all over the world. Because the currencies of the time of the so-called Iron Curtain countries were "non-convertible," meaning not exchangeable for any Western currency of the time, he was willing to offer another solution. I became a lifelong Abba fan after watching this show in '76.

That scene with Meryl and Amanda in the MM2 movie that featured this song made many people sob in the theatres no matter how hard they tried to play it cool.It was so strong so piercing. If this didn't manage to get you wet eyed then some should check your pulse.I couldn;t swallow my tears but fortunately it was dark and could hide a bit.Hit me straight to the heart.
Awesome song and YESSS... Agnetha is astonishing!!! I was competely in love back in 1974 🤩😉

This song is an excellent example of the control that Agnetha and Frida had over their voices. Switching between full chest voice and then in head voice with so much emotion and variation in their vocal textures and colours. Sung in perfect unison. Incredible.

Wonderful, for me Agnetha was always the angel come true. Her voice takes you to heaven and it's unbelievable how low and high she can go and it's crystal clear. She also has this natural sexiness and is simply beautiful. Of course Frida is also absolutely great and together the two of them cannot be surpassed. Check out Abba "Kisses of Fire / Lovers live a litle longer", both sooooo sexy Or live in Australia, what a concert

To be fair you have to give credit to Agnetha here as she is doing lead vocal and belts those high parts. Frida doesn’t sing that high part but sings different back vocal and harmony part. You can even see it in this video. This song specifically showcases Agnetha’s angelic voice. Song was intended for her. I think she even helped to develop it. There’s nice video clip of this song (made for Swedish TV program about ABBA) with Agnetha singing as if in a dreamscape or as if she’s a mirage. Very fitting with also those dreamy vocal layers.

Hello again dear GivenToe, so nice to see You return in our ABBA Journey I'm so happy to see You with a new reaction to ABBA songs and specialy these that is one of My favourites "My love My life" (1976) in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad although the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken It is a beautiful melody in an almost symphonic tone, like no other ABBA song (until "Ode to Freedom" in their comeback album "Voyage" last year) and Agnetha's voice rises to superlative levels very well accompanied with Frida in the choirs but She takes all the leadership and finishes with a powerful record in my opinion it is one of Her best vocal interpretations: S.O.S. I've been waiting for you My love My life Thank you for the music The winner takes it all Slipping through my fingers and now in the Voyage comeback album I added: Don't shut me down to complete "the Seven Wonders of Agnetha in ABBA" and is in My Top20 of all ABBA songs and Her ex husband, the guitarist Björn, said that in this song could see the power registrer of Agnetha voice The video is from a TV Special at Polland in 1976, when ABBA go there to premier the new album "Arrival' ... it's the second song on the TV show previously ABBA descended from some very high stairs singing "Dancing Queen" that's why the applause is heard and Agnetha puts a hand to her ear to try to listen to the next track I think this performance has the strangeness of seeing Björn standing up, without playing his guitar (except for the songs in which he sings). "My love my life" was the last song to be recorded for the album "Arrival" when they had most of the songs ready, they still hadn't assigned any to Agnetha (formerly "Money money money" and "Knowing me knowing you:?" were entrusted to Frida) and the last two were for her: "When I kissed the teacher" and this absolutely underrated beauty (in my opinion the second best song on the Arrival album, just below Dancing Queen) And other curiosly: there's a special unique video of "My love my life" with only Agnetha appears and a lot of years after, a compilation album of Agnetha solo career was tittle "My love my life the next túne is "Dum dum diddle" it have a live perfomance in Sweden See you soon in nesxt videos I wish"You a greatest weekend from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South América
