"That's Me" has always been 1 of my most favorite tracks of the ABBA Arrival album. Especially because of the "electric accordeon" tune in the beginning and between chorus and verse and also the beautiful background harmonies! I loved it in 1976 as a 6 year old kid and I still dol!

@@leifpettsson Yes, I'm glad not to be a kid growing up in these very difficult times, the 60's and 70's were the wonder years of so much good going on, though of course with some exceptions ... but, now it just abounds with all round conflict and strife, so very volatile! ABBA and Olivia Newton John were the two most beautiful things to happen to music, the Bee Gees produced so very many phenomenal songs as well!

Hello David 💥 Good choise you did 😊 Agneta and Frida has so compatible voices, what a luck they did find each other all 4 of them. Björn and Benny are great musicians and can sing good too. The only bad thing is that most can hear on the intro that it's an ABBA song. I like most of their music and lyrics, but it's hard to believe that they won the European song contest in Brighton 1974. Waterloo is far from the best song they have written but maybe it's because the contest was in Brighton and the song was about Waterloo. Who am I to judge? 😉 Have a great friday with your family and friends Giventoe 🎉❤

Hello David..are you psychic? How did you know l needed to hear ABBA this morning?! Firstly, l don't remember having seen this video ( which has snippets of the ' Money, Money Money footage) But,then again, ' That's Me' 🤭 Never be surprised to hear Abbas' versatility. Now that l am more mature, l can greatly appreciate B&Bs theatricality in their lyrics more. They have this ability to compose catchy but deep meaning..as you progress through their catalogue you will certainly understand this. This ' anthem ' of a woman asserting her independence without compromise..as l surmise, a strong character who doesn't need a man to make her ' complete'. But still very much in her femininity. Abba is like a fine wine..as your taste buds become more attuned you savour nuances more. Apologies for the long commentary. Ciao bello and THANKYOU! ❤❤❤❤

Your point about the video making you appreciate the song more makes sense. For me, Frida looks gorgeous in this video and the video obviously adds to the song. With that said, I think this is one of ABBA’s under appreciated songs. Lyrically it’s a bit of an outlier thematically in comparison to much of their catalog (along with maybe “Hey, Hey Helen” and “On and On and On”) in as far as the protagonist being an independent type of woman, but, I also think instrumentally it was ahead of its time with the heavy use of synths which propel it’s upbeat and bouncy energy, a stylistic choice which would become hugely popular some years later in the early 80s when synth-pop, new wave music became hugely popular. I love this song and Agnetha cited it as her favorite as well up until “The Winner Takes It All” was recorded. Benny obviously had a field day with this song in as far as the synths go.
