Yes!! This. For some reason, the guys tended to give Frida mid tempo songs or ballads but she proved on the Visitors and her solo albums Something’s Going On and Shine that she can totally belt out a power rock song. There’s practically no musical genre she can’t excel in. Jazz, blues, rock, pop, disco, even opera. The pipes this woman still has at 72 (at the time of recording) is amazing.

Her voice is incredibly smooth and warm on ballads like Little Things, Bumblebee and I Still Have Faith, but that’s not all this woman can do. I watched Agnetha sing The Winner Takes It All live during the capture recording for next year, her delivery was spell binding, and yes it was her voice as it is now, it was a very emotional experience and she was a true professional in her attitude and vocal control. Frida did record vocals to three tracks from Voyage for next year's concerts and her voice has not lost any power but in fact her delivery of Knowing Me Knowing You was beautiful and on the higher notes she really belted out in the chorus, Agnetha then recorded some very high harmonies for If It Wasn't For The Nights. One thing I noticed was that third voice still exists when the ladies sang in unison for those new recordings.

My thoughts exactly.... This should have been the third single (or maybe even the first). This is among the best songs Abba has produced. Frida's voice is perfect, and even more incredible to think at 75 she can deliver such a forceful performance. The harmonies are up with "Knowing me Knowing you" and "Under Attack" in their creativity.. For those who associate Frida with only quieter songs, listen to "Me and I" or "I am the City" turned up loud.... fabulous powerful delivery, with Agnetha's harmonies complimenting and augmenting beautifully...

The fragility of their older voices appears to be only noticeable on the slower songs and quieter passages of these new songs. And that's okay. But when the first two songs were released, it was evident that Anni-Frid still packed some power on 'I Still Have Faith In You' and in the choruses of 'Don't Shut Me Down' . So' like others, I was hoping they'd give her a banger on this album. Wow, those pre-choruses and she's 76 next week !!!

No Doubt helped me reassess the whole album. I'll confess most of the (new to us) songs left me feeling a bit... er, flat, first time through. They've all grown on me since that first time, but it was No Doubt which picked me up and put the smile back on my face when I reached it. And that mood led me to replay the album in a more generous and thoughtful state of mind. I still rate I Still Have Faith in You as my favourite overall, because it and the video sum up this whole experience so incredibly well. But No Doubt About It feels like a good old fashioned Abba song and I love it! I especially love the fact they put it where they did on the album. Clever!

Now to properly respond to your response to this song! One of the many reasons I love ABBA so much is that they can sing about heartbreak in a gut-punch like The Winner Takes It All, but they can also deliver a song like No Doubt About It which is bouncy and fun... yet is still about heartbreak. The lyrics of this song are anything but happy, and yet the way they sing them somehow makes life a bit better for a listener who has made major mistakes in a relationship (not that I have ever done that, ahem cough cough). I'm particularly intrigued by how these lyrics could be seen as an apology from Agnetha & Anni-Frid to Benny & Bjōrn, for the ladies' culpability in the failure of their respective marriages. And I *love* songs that end with a vocal tag like this one. One of my favorite songs (speaking as a musician) from the 80s is a song called If She Would've Been Faithful by the American band Chicago. [It's worth a response video, just sayin'...]. The song ends with a great vocal tag. But I think this one may be my new favorite. ABBA have not released a new album. They have opened a TIME CAPSULE from 40 years ago. I still cannot wrap my brain around this achievement.

@GivenToe - I've been watching your reaction vids in chronological order for the last few days. I got my copy of Voyage on Friday and listened to it straight through like 10 times before watching your vids. It's made it even more touching since I already know the songs when I watch you hear them for the first time. I listened to the songs with the lyrics on my screen, side-by-side. This song broke my heart; due to human-caused global warming and climate change, the bee population has dropped by up to 90% in some parts of the world. When they sing of people who will never know the sound of bumblebees, I could imagine them singing this song as an apology to their grandchildren's grandchildren's grandchildren. And the lyrics paint the picture of her garden so beautifully. The breeze and the flowers. The specific names of the flowers. This song is a masterpiece on an album full of masterpieces. Voyage is an album that will stand the test of time for the phrase "going out on a high note." It's beyond spectacular. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that this is real.

When Frida sings... WHY... so amazing. The voice and music is classic Abba that continues to be timeless! Thank you Abba.

ABBAMAN...you are soooo funny david. love your disco ball effect lol i do agree with you on this song. its great. and should be a single release down the line. as i understand it the group recorded 22 songs for the concert in may. 20 being hits plus DSMD and ISHFIY so not sure if any of the other tracks from voyage will be used in the concert.

I have heard they motion captured around 25-26 songs. And Ludwig Anderson has talked about the possibility of swapping out songs as the show run progresses

@@DistantCousin thats great news. i still hope they do 1 more album to make it an even 10 studio albums. then they would have more songs to swap out in future shows. of course that would mean they would have to come back and motion capture again if they recorded another album but not sure they would want to do this again. but never say never. will see
