I understand why they don’t. Not only is it an hour and a half and would require heavy editing, it’s also very problematic. No one wants to be cancelled for reacting to a film containing the lead actor. Whilst it’s not ABBA’s fault, It’s a very sad part to the ABBA story.

​@@discogareth I still own the original VHS release i had bought in the early ‘80s and then the dvd release from ‘00s.Sadly for me,in the dvd i found out that the audience’s screams have been digitally dubbed/reduced and this way imo it kinda diminishes the raw sound of the exciting interaction between the fans and the band.Good day.

One detail: these are so-called promotional films; MTV didn't start until 1981. ABBA had to fly less (Agnetha's fear of flying and 2 pregnancies)) and thus served the TV stations. Why Did It Have To Be Me is awesome from ABBA The Movie.

oh, by the way - unreleased track for the unreleased album Opus I think is brilliant - get high, have a few and listen to 'I am the city'. It is a trip. The visitors is also a trip but on a diffrent vibe. they knew what they were doing. Should I laugh or Cry and Cassandra are bloody good tracks too.

hello Zeddy, thank you for this video and return with your reaction and comments to ABBA songs "Super trouper" (1980) was the nine and last single #1 to ABBA in UK ; and it was the #1 (with the album too) the day than the iconic John Lennon was murder It's the opening track in Their seventh album "Super Trouper" , that was #1 too in UK and several countries of all continents This album included the most heartbroken song "The winner takes it all" , it shows how versatily ABBA is, two songs different in style and lyrics and lead singer, and worldwide hit too in "Súper Trouper" you can hear clear the brunette Frida amazing sweet as a lead singer, the blonde Agnetha fantastic in second voice (as could see specialy in the second verse of the official video), and a beautiful melody with power and catchy chorus (with 'a capela' parts) "Super Trouper" is in my Top10 of ABBA songs and my Top5 of Frida as lead voice in ABBA songs Now my suggestion is to "The winner takes it all" (1980) the single before with the blonde singer Agnetha in lead voice See you in the next video to ABBA songs My best regards to You from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

Nice to see you appreciating the brilliance that is ABBA. I’ve been checking the various reactions you’ve posted to various ABBA tracks and it seems to me you recognize the quality in the production values based on what I’ve heard you point out in your ABBA reactions I’ve seen so far. This track, “The Name Of The Game”, “Does Your Mother Know” which I loved your enthusiasm at hearing Bjorn in lead. I love that song and surprisingly I think it’s given less than it’s due among ABBA fans who seem to be a bit more “meh” about it which I find bizarre, but, perfectly fine as well since there are so MANY songs from ABBA to love. I’m going to suggest two tracks I think would pique your interest and if you do react to them I would suggest you do one before the other due to my perception of how I think one will lead to the other in a more logical progression assuming it would be the first time you would be hearing each of them. First “Lay All Your Love On Me” and the second song is “The Visitors (Cracking Up)”. Also, I think you should definitely do a reaction to “ABBA The Movie” if for only to see the incredible reaction and immense popularity of ABBA in Australia. It’s amazing! Plus, some really good live concert footage as well, especially the Sydney show during a torrential downpour. 😮

I always think it is interesting to see parodies of songs from the time they were in the charts and the comedy programme "Not the Nine O'Clock News" did a parody song of "Super Trooper" called "Super Duper" at around the same time as this song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3XSdp18j9iGd5Y It has Rowan Atkinson, Mel Smith, Griff Rhys-Jones and Pamela Stephenson being ABBA.
