Agnetha too. Bjorn seems to be on the fence and Benny is a little more towards the No side. I believe both men could be coaxed over to the ladies’ side. People think that every song that ABBA wrote and sang turned to gold. But when you look at their whole catalog of music, only about 25% of it could be described as being hits. And in their latest album, I would say that only 2 out of 10 of those songs could potentially be considered hits. If you think about it, that's the same ratio. Nothing wrong with that. I wish I could write songs with that ratio of success.

@@519forestmonk9 I think you are totally wrong. It was, I feel, Benny above all others. He was tired and wanted to spread his wings and do something more. Agnetha even came into studio after the 'split' to do a demo for Chess, with Frida being alongside Benny and Bjorn singing 'One night In Bangkok'. Bjorn, during an interview in 1982 was clear that he wanted to do an album that was by "ABBA's standards' the best one. Benny has so many things going on that he will, inevitably, want to channel some of his creativity with his band. So forward to 2022, and we are full circle, with Benny pretty certain that there will be no more. Agnetha and Frida notably quiet and not quite giving the same indication of 'no more'.

I have been an ABBA fan all of my life since they won 🏆 eurovision in 74. I was 6 years old. Their music is timeless. I am going in August with my sister....so excited. Loved Bennys dig at NME. Absolutely! Benny is a wise old fox ( no desrespect intended in the least). NME could be bitingly cruel with anything that wasn't ' home grown' as well. I perfectly well understand his response. ABBA have had to fight tooth and nail all the way for their place both domestically and abroad so they deserve this recognition. I hope to be able to see this show if I can some day although I live in Spain.

Quite amazing to see them together again and recording after all this time, and that they still enjoy creating and collaborating. They still blend amazingly well and sound fab in the new material. I like how they've just aged naturally and gracefully, and are comfortable in their own skin in that European way. They still look like Abba, but the senior version. They should do one live concert performance all together as a parting gift before retiring, with the philharmonic or something!
