Shahid-Saless is better than anyone from Iran, the only director to ooze off this staggering almost ‘cosmic’ radiance of complexity through the most delicate simplicities since the ‘God’ Robert Bresson. Alongside Bela Tarr, Lav Diaz, Theodore Angelopoulos, Robert Bresson, Franco Piavoli and Wang Bing...Saless is the greatest of all time. Farhadi is mainstream lol
